He stared absent mindedly out the window. The rain blurring the view. His tea was forgotten. Cold in the cup.
"Levi..." Hanjis voice brought him back to the present, pulling him out of the memory that haunted him everyday. "It's time."
Turning on the spot, Levi began to survay the room for the very last time.
Erwins office was empty. The once bright room was now drab and bland. Nothing had moved, not even the paperwork that Erwin had left before he took to the sky.
"Give me five minutes." Levis monotone voice spoke. Hanji nodded and slipped out of the door, waiting outside for the smaller man to emerge.
He sat in the chair at the desk and sighed. He would never see his lover hunched over this desk again. He would never find him asleep in his chair, exhausted from pulling numerous all nighters. Never again.
Levis hands skimmed over the mahogany desk and stopped at the last draw. He reluctantly opened it, pulling out three pieces of paper. The first had a sketch of Mike and Hanji; the caption saying Their arguing about the budget.  The second piece was a drawing of Levi. He was standing by the window, a china tea cup in his hand; the smoke emitting from the cup indicating it was fresh. The caption read It's raining again, he made us tea. The last was a sketch of Levi again but this time he was sleeping. The caption stopped Levis heart momentarily.
Goodbye.
Folding the papers and putting them in his back pocket, Levi left the room never to return...
