"Bro, tignan mo yun." sabi ni Brent sabay turo sa isang girl na naglalakad patungo dito sa tambayan namin. "She looks—"
"Beautiful?" I cut him off.
"Lost." Brent countered. Napailing naman ako sa sinabi niya. He's right though. The girl looks lost. Sa laki ba naman ng university na to. Baka naman transferee.
"Seryoso, Rivero? Nagagandahan ka diyan?" tanong naman ni Andrei.
"Hindi ba?" I asked them. "Come on guys, she's got the looks."
"Eh yung height? Nawawala ata." sabi ni Kuya Thomas which made the whole group laugh.
"Kayo ata bagay, Thom. Nawawala rin ata height mo eh. Bansot." asar naman ni Kuya Jeron sakanya.
First day ng second sem namin today and we're a hundred percent sure na hindi pa formal ang classes namin kaya naman nakatambay lang kami dito sa favorite spot namin sa school. I'm currently with my teammates. Brent, Andrei, Kuya Kib, Kuya Thom, and Kuya Jeron. Si Kuya Prince being Kuya Prince, he attended his first subject. I can say he's more responsible than I am.
"Uhm excuse me." We were busy talking ng na-interrupt kami when the "lost girl" approached us. "Do you know where this building is located?"
"Mukha ba akong hanapan ng building? Do I look like an information center to you?" sagot ko as I raised a brow. Yung teammates ko naman, nagpipigil ng tawa. The girl's smile turned into a frown.
"Oh my apologies. I was just asking. Thank you anyways." she said as she started walking away. Hindi ko sana siya susunduan but my teammates made faces.
"Wow, ako na nga tong hinahabol ka para samahan ka, ikaw pa tong snob?" I ran past her. "You don't just ignore people like me."
"No, it's fine. I'm going to the faculty instead. Besides if I keep on searching for this goddamn building, wala namang kwenta because I'm super late." Sagot niya naman at nagpatuloy sa kakalakad.
"I'll escort you to the faculty room then." I offered as I ran past her and stopped infront of her para naman mapatigil siya sa kakalakad.
"I can manage. Thanks." she just rolled her eyes on me. Wow. What a brat.
"No you can't." I countered as I walked with her.
"I'm sure transferee ka kaya naman naliligaw ka na. And I won't let that happen. Not to a gorgeous girl like you." Banat ko naman and I hope, this works.
"Kupal."
"Grabe ang sungit." ako? Kupal? Psh. She wish. "Ikaw na nga tong sasamahan, ikaw pa tong suplada." napatigil naman siya sa paglalakad.
"Okay first of all, you're super annoying. Ang bastos ng ugali mo. Napahiya ako infront of your friends. I was just asking pero pilosopo kang sumagot. And diba sabi ko? I don't need your help and I can manage. Kaya please lang? Leave me alone." I was speechless. Mas binilisan niya pa ang paglalakad niya. I was dumbfounded kaya naman di ko na siya hinabol.
