"That's cool," Cali commented.

He was about to ask him again something when someone knocked and came in.

"Sir Ethan?"

"Yes Jana?" he asked.

The woman smiled. "Nothing. I just want to make sure that you're being attended to. One of the attendants told me you already came in with your guests. Would you need anything else?"

"No, we're okay. Mel accomodated us well. I'm happy with the service," he smiled.

The woman named Jana smiled. She seems to bring warmth where she goes. "The client wanted to say his thanks for the great party last night."

"Good. I'll remember to call him," he said.

"Enjoy the night," she said. "Ma'am, little sir, should you need anything, I am just downstairs with the guests."

"Don't worry Jana, we're okay."

"Tito, why are they calling you Sir? Why are they so nice to us? Are they like that to everyone?" Cali asked him curiously.

He laughed. "Well, yes. I trained them to treat everyone nicely. They are like that to all our customers."

"You train them?" he said in disbelief. "Dada also trains people. Why do you all do that?"

"Yes, I train them," he laughed with the kid's question. "Dada and I are the bosses that's why we train people."

"Wow! That's so cool! So you mean to say, you are that woman's boss?"

Ethan nodded. "I own this place."

"Seriously? Your house is so big and you own this place! You have a pool in your house and you got helpers too. They call you Sir and you train people. How cool is that?"

"I sacrificed a lot to have all of these, Cali," he said. "But it's not complete yet."

"You mean, you want another house or helicopter or airplane maybe?"

He laughed. "No. I have my car," he told him. "You'll understand soon."

"I can understand now," he bargained.

"It's complicated, Cali," Ethan smiled at him.

"Is that Math? Because Nanay said that the most complicated thing in the world is Math," he said.

"Your Dada likes Math," he said.

"I know. I don't understand why Dada likes it because it is hard," Cali said. "I guess Nanay said the truth."

"Life's not just one plus one, baby," Ethan said. "But we do have calculators to solve those complications when you have to."

They spent quality time together despite Raffy's limited actions. She saw how happy Cali was to be with Ethan and the laughter she was hearing from him was too precious for her ears. Cali was the protected one, was watched like a hawk, was the untouchable. She gave everything for him just so she can compensate what her son's been missing. After hours of staying on the private lounge, they decided to go home and Cali was lively until they got home.

"Did you have fun?" Ethan asked him.

"I did," he smiled. "You're way cooler than I thought of you."

"Cali, why don't you say thank you now for taking you out tonight? You have to go to bed now. It's late," she reminded him.

Ethan smiled. "Nanay's right. Go to bed now and have a good sleep."

"Tito Ethan," Cali called him. Ethan bended his knees and leveled himself to Cali. He was surprised when Cali suddenly grabbed him and embraced him on his neck. "Thank you for tonight! I had fun!"
