Light up the dark

Chapter 1

Nikki's POV
I walked through the airport with my suitcase trying to find Lexi. Lexi's my manager. I was supposed to stay with her until next year when my parents get everything set up to move here.
I found Lexi waiting for me by the airport door. I walked over to her. "Lexi! Hi" I say hugging her. "Hey kid" she says. "Come on we have to go. You're gonna love the place I got you. All the young stars live there" she leads me out the door and in her car.

Lexi parks the car and I step out. I grab my suitcase and step outside. "This way kid" she says leading me inside.

My apartment was on the highest floor. It was a 1 bedroom with modern style decorations. "This is your apartment. Mine is across yours" Lexi says "I'll let you get settled in. You might have some packages still coming in. I'm gonna be in my apartment. Here are your keys with my spare key" I say bye to Lexi as she heads to her apartment.

I decided to take a quick shower and change. I checked my phone and texted my parents. I set down my suitcases and went into the shower.

After my shower I walked out and changed into a sweater, jeans, scarves and uggs. I dried my hair with the hair drier that was in the bathroom and started to move my things in the closets.

I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door and saw a cute guy about my age with black hair up to his chin and slaying jaw line. I smiled. "Hi can I help you?" I ask politely.

"Oh hi. I'm Isaak" he says "Lexi told me to show you around and help you get settled in" I smile.

"I'm Nikki" I say "Come on in" I let him in and close the door. "So what do you do?"  I ask.

"I am in a Disney show and guest star off fuller house" he says. "I remember you! You're the popko kid right?" I ask. He nods. "Please sit down" I say. He sits down. "What about you? What do you do?" He asks.

"I sing and act. I just got assigned to a record company. You might have hear my song on YouTube and I'm going to be in the show stuck in the middle for a bit" I said. "Awesome! I sing too but I'm mostly an actor. Wait! Your that Nikki" Isaak says chuckling. He's cute. "Ya...I thought you knew so I didn't really say anything" I reply

"So how are you going to help me  get settled?" I asked going through the fridge. "Well I was supposed to show you around this awesome neighborhood" he says getting up.

"Ok then let me just grab some stuff" I say going to my room. I hadn't finished my makeup so I applied light makeup and came back out. "Ok lets go" I say grabbing my phone, keys and my purse.

I knocked on Lexi's door. No answer. I then used the spare key to get in. "LEXI I"M GONNA GO WITH ISAAK TO SEE THE NEIGHBORHOOD!" I screamed. "OK!" she yelled back from the shower. Isaak chuckled as we left
