Imprinting

~Jenny's POV~

Right now I'm walking down the hallway with my best friend Kiana and we pass by Sam Uley's "cult"

"Is that Embry Call? He looks hot!" Kiana says

I look over and see Paul Lahote, Jared Cameron, Embry Call, Jacob Black, and Quil Ateara

"What? Sorry I was zoned out." I tell her

"Embry. Look at him." She whispers

I look at Embry and he looks up at me and freezes when we make eye contact

Then he finally snaps out of and I keep walking with Kiana to our lockers

When we get to our lockers I open mine and place my bag in then grab my textbook for my first class

"Hey sexy." I hear

I turn and see Dylan-baseball team captain-standing there

"Dylan." I say

"So how about you and I meet up during lunch?" Dylan asks me

"Hmm...how about no." I reply 

I slam my locker and walk away from him but feel him grab my wrist

"I don't take no for an answer." Dylan tells me

"Is he bothering you, babe?" I hear

I look over and see Embry standing there kinda towering over Dylan

"No. He was just leaving." I tell him

I look back to Dylan who lets go of my wrist and walks off from us

"Thank You." I say looking at Embry

"No problem. I just looked over and it looked like you needed a little help." He tells me

"Yeah. He's pretty..." I trail off

"Obsessed?" Kiana suggests

"Yeah." I reply smiling a little

The bell rings and I exhale a little bit

"Well thanks again, Embry. See you later." I say

He smiles and I walk off with Kiana to my next class

~Embry's POV~

I watch Jennifer walk away and I exhale smiling a little to myself

"So...." I hear

I turn and see the guys standing there 

"What?" I ask them

"Look at you, imprinting on the hottest girl in school." Paul says

"Shut up." I say

"Chill. I'm not the only one who says that." Paul says

I roll my eyes and we head to class and I take my seat and I see Stacy sitting next to me

"Hi Embry." She greets

"Uh...hey." I greet not looking at her

"Did you get a haircut? You look different. But a sexy different." Stacy tells me

"Joined a gym." I say 

Then Jennifer and Kiana walk in and I smile a little

"Over here." Kiana says dragging Jennifer behind her

Kiana sits in front of me and Jennifer sits next to me

"Hi." I greet

"Hey." Jennifer replies smiling

"I never knew you two had this class." Jake says

"We transferred." Kiana tells him

"Cool." I say 

Jennifer smiles and class begins

'Cool?! How lame!' I think to myself

"I like lame." Jennifer says

"What?" I ask her

"You were thinking out loud, genius." Paul tells me

I turn red and turn back to the front of the room

~After Class~

Right now we're heading to lunch and when we get there I see Dylan talking with Jennifer

My blood begins to boil and Jennifer looks at me and smiles 

I smile back and she says something to Dylan then walks off

~Jenny's POV~

I walk over to Embry and I see Stacy looking from myself to him and then she grabs his face and kisses him

Then I stop and Kiana looks at me sympathetically and I walk out of the cafeteria and to the courtyard

"Wait! Jennifer!" I hear someone call

I stop and spin and see Embry coming after me 

"What?" I ask him 

He finally catches up to me and I look up at him 

"I promise you...that wasn't at all what it looked like." He tells me

"It doesn't matter, Embry. We...We don't even know each other like that. I mean what you do with your love life is between you and Stacy." I tell him

"Look...I don't like Stacy, okay? She's...obsessed with me. I really don't like her...I-I like you." He tells me

"You...like me?" I ask him

"Yeah. I do." He says

I smile and he does too and I exhale a little biting my bottom lip

"Well..." I trail off

"Well...I can't believe I just told the most...gorgeous girl in school I like her." He says scratching the back of his neck

I blush and look at him 

"You think I'm gorgeous?" I ask him

"Absolutely." He tells me

I smile and he does too then he leans down and kisses me

I kiss back and then we pull away

~After School~

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow." I tell Embry

"Bye." Embry says

"Bye." I say smiling

He smiles back and I get into my car and drive home
