Run away

I woke up to the sound of yelling. I quickly changed into a baby blue cropped top with pink cotton candy high waisted shorts. I put my hair in a messy bun and went downstairs. Lucky for me it was a Saturday and I had no school. But what the heck it's a SATURDAY! The weekend! I went into the kitchen and I saw Melody, Arron and Amber. I stood hiding along the wall next to the entrance to the kitchen listening to every word they said.

"How could you? She was your fiancé! Your were getting married! Then you want to have fun with a slut." Melody said.

"Says the girl who made out with Brandon." Amber said back.

"Girls, girls stop your damn fighting. Anyways it's all over. Lilly deserved it. She was horrible. I can't believe I was gonna marry her it was the worst idea ever!" It felt like I had been shot in the hear multiple times. I slid down the wall sitting there in a ball still listening.

"I have more words too say." I popped my head out and he got on one knee.

"Amber.. we have been together forever. I know this wasn't that fancy but.. Will you marry me?" He asked her. my heart and jaw dropped. I ran into my bedroom and took out my luggage I packed all of my good stuff and my clothes. I stormed out of that room slamming the door shut. I went down the stairs with my luggage. Melody, Arron and Amber came out of the kitchen.

"What is that noise?" Arron said.

"Melody I'm moving out. I don't want to have to see that every day." I said in disgust.

"No Lilly please." she pleaded.

"I'm sorry. I have money I already know where I can get a job. And I have a place I can go to." I lied. I had no where.

"Lilly but-" I cut Arron off.

"No Arron. I don't wanna here it." my voice cracked as I tried to hide my tears. "congrats on your wedding." I said.

"Awe thanks! Your such a sweet heart!" I glared at Amber and left. the walked outside and watched me leave.

I left walking and walking. I walked for an hour. It was about 12:00 and I was getting hungry. I went behind a building and I went through my suitcase, I had some snacks in it and I pulled out a granola bar. I zipped up my suit case and Sat on top of it. I replayed exactly what happened again in my head. Tears were streaming like a river down my cheeks. I was crying like a little kid where they have to try to control their breathing. My phone rand and I looked at who it was.

I answered.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Lilly where are you?" The voice asked. It was the one voice I remembered Zoe.

"Zoe! I don't know. I walked for an hour. I left Melody and Arron." I told her.

"I called Melody and she said she didn't know where you were." Zoe said.

"Well I'm behind a building hiding. Arron went to a party I didn't trust him and he enjoyed himself with Amber.

I called off the marriage and he ended up purposing to Amber this morning. Apparently he was cheering on me the whole time." I cried into the phone.

"Okay well tell me what street your on." she said.

"St. Gorges street."I told her.

And in thirty minutes Zoe was there.

Zoe stepped out of the car and walked over to me I stood up my eyes all puffy from me crying. Zoe gave me a great big hug and didn't let me go.

"It's okay baby girl.." she said.

"W-where will I go? You have a family."

"Well... I'm not able to move out until I'm 18. Maybe if I ask them you can stay until were able to move out." she told me.

"Okay.. I guess." I said to her. My phone rang and I answered.

"Hello?" I said.

"LILLY!" It was Lindsay screaming into the phone.

"OMG Lilly why did you leave?" Melody asked.

"I left because I can't deal with Arron. He just crushed me. I can't live with him and you if I'm just going to be embarrassed because his new fiancé is living there with him. That would be embarrassing and I'm tired of him, he was cheating on me the whole time and I thought he loved me." I told Melody trying to hold in the tears.

"Lilly I'm sorry please come back." Melody pleaded.

"Why are you apologizing? It's Arron he who should be apologizing. Knowing him he won't. Anyways I'm probably going to be at school on Monday." I said.

"If you want to hang out just text me. But I'm not going to any party, and I do not want to see Arron." I told her.

"Okay.. I'm sorry this happened. I'll talk to you later." Mel said to me.

"Okay bye." I said hanging up the phone. I sat there on my luggage and started to cry I'm so upset and furious.

My phone rang again.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Lilly I'm sorry.. please let me apologize!" It was Arron.

"Do I look like a joke to you? You must be kidding. After enjoying the night with Amber and then the next day purposing?! And you cheated on me the whole time because you were still with her?! I must me a joke! You embarrassed me! You made me embarrassed in front of the whole school!" I yelled into the phone.

"You made me feel loved and special. but I'm no special girl I'm like every other girl you ever dated." I said into the phone.

"No please! I'm so sor-" I cut him off.

"You may be sorry but what happened, happened and I don't think I would ever be able to let it go. You crushed my heart. I'm sorry but this is goodbye Arron." I said hanging up the phone.

I sat there a few more moments and then Zoe showed up. She got out of the car and ran towards me.

"Oh my! Is my little baby girl okay?" She said giving me a hug.

"H-he broke my heart." I said hugging her crying my eyes out.

"Come on sweet heart. I'll take you to my home and show you my family." Zoe said to me. This was the worst day ever.I sat in the car writing in my journal. My last entry was before I was in the hospital and before I was beat by my aunt. I decided to write.

Dear diary ,

I was supposed to get married to the one and only Arron. But he screwed up and had an affair with Amber. I was so embarrassed! I am moving out and I will be living with my sister and her family. I would be the new girl. I don't want to be the new girl! Ugh! I would be new to the family and new to a new school possibly.Great I'm probably going to a new school in the middle of the school year! I don't want to be the new girl. I could scream!
