Well that's what they think I'm just a ordinary girl that can't be in the sunlight without being in absolute hell each time I take a step...and no I'm not a fucking vampire for all you twilight fans! I don't have a love interest that's a human (A/N YET!) I don't sparkle whenever I'm exposed to the sunlight I burn there's a difference a BIG difference if I could explain what it feels like I would probably say it feels like hell and a thousand knives being stabbed into you and that's just the beginning....I guess there's a upside to the not being able to be in the sunlight like example at night it's quite and no one looks at you like you're a monster.... but it gets lonely very lonely no one talks to me thinking that's theirs something wrong with me until a man maybe in his early 30's or less walks towards me but I already know what's going to happen he's going to be frightened by me and run away....it was a couple seconds and he still standing there confused I looked at him I saw a warm smile a smile I missed for so long then he spoke "Hello miss I'm guessing your the little shadow girl everyone is talking about?" I nodded then continued to speak "perfect now this might be a very random question but will you join my academy for the powerful?" The what? I thought to myself I guess he saw my confusion and then explained "well you see there are lots of people like you well not really their not exactly like you but you understand" At first I didn't know if I wanted to join a stranger that literally just started to talk to me a couple seconds ago but then again it's better then where I am now......"ok" I said in a quiet voice "great! Now come with me!"
I followed him to a limousine he ordered a man wearing a suit to drive
It was a long and very awkward ride the man said something about how I would be very happy there...unlikely they just be mean and call me names like vampire or pail face like they did the last time I went to school "Oh! I almost forgot I believe that you might need this!" He handed me an umbrella it was so pretty and it was big enough to at least cover my upper body he also gave my an outfit it was very beautiful and had leggings to cover my legs the gown was black and blue matching the umbrella for some reason I wanted to cry no one has ever been so nice to me in my life he saw this then started to panic "Oh! Do you not like the present I can get something else for you!" "No no I love it but it's just that I'm not used to people being nice to me" I explained to him his face soon turned to a "oh thank god" kind of face if that makes sense we
Arrived to the tall building it was so beautiful it was decorated with flowers it had a maze and a little playground the path that leads to the front door had huge umbrellas over it so I could easily enter I saw kids and some servants standing outside the door waiting for us we started walking to the door "um..may I ask what's your name?" I ask he looked very embarrassed "oh! How could I forget to introduce myself my name is Johnson cane but you can call me john and may I ask what your name is?" I nodded and then said "My name is violet" "that's a very lovely name" the ma- John said patting my head the 6 kids came running to John making him fall "hey! I swear one day you guys are going to kill me!" I smile at his response then one of the kids pointed at me "who's that?" "Her name is Violet she's the shadow girl or so I've heard" everyone looked at me with shocked and disappointed "I thought you were a monster" said a girl "yeah or at least a vampire that has shiny skin" added a brown haired boy all the kids nodding in agreement I felt my face becoming red is that what the people think of me? A vampire a monster?...well what do they know?! They never felt my hell they don't know what it's like! I felt hot tears streaming down my face john noticed this then said "ahem! It's very rude to say something like that you don't know what her life has been now everyone apologize to her right now then go to your rooms!" I wiped the tears away as they apologized to me I expected their apology then they all left except for one it was a white haired boy about my age john wanted him to stay for some reason "Oliver will you please take Violet to her room please?" The boy nodded then grabbed my hand and lead me to my room the number 12 was carved into it "this is your room" the boy said I thanked him went into my room the change my clothes to the lovely gown and grabbed my umbrella then walked out of my room then to the dining room the food was delicious but the room felt awkward no one talked to me or even sit next to me as I expected expect for Oliver he was so sweet saying their not really this quiet saying it's because their just embarrassed but they don't hate me after dinner we talked for a while even tho he was the one doing most of the talking he waved goodnight to me and went to his room which was room 13 I walked to my room and changed to my sleepwear and went to bed I wonder if tomorrow will be a good day? I thought as I slowly fell asleep
