My parents said they were going to take me somewhere fun with a lot of children my age. I was so hyper to find out what it was. we went to are car and I buckler myself, because I was a big girl. I was only 5. Mom and Dad were talking about me but I was to hyper to listen. "Mommy, when will we be there?" I asked. She look through the mirror and replied," soon, Alice. Very soon." It was silence then I felt the car stop. I was so excited! Dad take me out and carried me " Daddy," I said , "I'm 5 now I can walk myself." He just shook his head no. We walk into a weird building. Other children were there. They stear as Dad walk up to the counter and sat me there. "Stay here " he said " Mommy and I will be back soon." I nod with a big smile. He left and I waited, and waited, and waited. Then a woman came up to me and ask "are you new child?" I nod with a smile. She sighed and ask,. " What your name sweetie?" I said, " alice Hunter." She wrote it down and said," Well, welcome to the orphanage, Alice!" That when my whole world broke.
