What a terrifying night it was. You were gone, I was left alone in the rainy mood of the clouds and everything seemed to stop. My heart was hardly beating- or was it beating hard? I don't remember. The memory of you never coming back was enough to scare me for the rest of my life. And it did. Night after night, I would cry my eyes out for you. Night after night, I would wander places with my mind that were dangerous and suicidal. Night after night, I would beg for you to be alright. And now? You ring my bell. I open the door. My cheeks are wet, eyes red, my heart beating hard- oh so hardly beating. You throw yourself around my shoulders and my mind is in a better place. I hope it is for you too. I lead you into our kitchen and you sit down. It was early in the morning- too early. You sit down, next to you is a cracked window. I chuckle and tell you the story of how you once broke it and we never got it repaired. You let out a faded chuckle. Oh, how your dimples deepened. Oh, how I missed that. You prop up your chin gently. I can't move my eyes off of you. You're just too gorgeous. Your long brown curly hair touching your back, your slim fingers playing with salt that's on the kitchen table... it all reminds me of so much. And as if that wasn't enough, the sun was rising. I was completely stunned. Your sparkly eyes that resembled the night sky were keened on my dull ones. The red sun touched your face oh so softly. Your head was covered in the long sunrays of the star. And for once, I told you how beautiful you were. All of it that could be said. Leaving nothing out. Your simple freckles across your face, the way your lip curls when you're about to smile, how I wanted to taste your lipstick along with the feeling of love. And you just smiled wide. And you stood up. And you placed your lips on mine. And it seemed like the world was in my arms forever and I was kissing it. And I wanted you forever. And it stayed that way.
