Lu's great escape?

     Layi was standing at the door of the Oz advertisement company that was just placed in her care upon arrival. She gave a deep sigh "I know big brother and sister enjoyed it but I don't know about me" her thoughts questioned her choice on appearing at Oz. Her light brown eyes glanced to the sign "They loved this place till the very end" she thought which brought on a small happy smile as the wind blew her dark brown hair to the right slightly. A cold chill went down her back also brings her to rub her arms "Gosh its cold out here" she whispered as her hand grabbed the door knob to open it quickly. She wanted to enter quickly to stop the cold from spreading all over her body but she was stopped by a fluffy black dog sitting at the door front. It took her a while after scanning the dogs feature from a far she finally realized who it was "Hey Mi Ban" she said cheerfully when she kneeled down to pet Mi Ban carefully to prevent any fur on her. Mi Ban gave a happy howl of excitement when she spoke her name although another figure called for him but, he ignored it just concentrating on Layi as she bet him with such gentle hands. Her light brown eyes glanced into the building "Mi Ban, someone is calling for you" she stated coolly as she quickly stood from her kneeling position. Mi Ban just barked at her happily then gently pushing the back of her legs forward into the building with just a little happy wag of his tail. A small laugh escaped her lips following his pushing of her legs "Alright I am going in Mi Ban" she said happily as she followed the small dogs demands. Her legs were freezing due to the cold wind but once she entered her legs warmed up quickly "That feels great on my legs" she said warmly while rubbing her bare legs quickly with a soft smile. Her white flower designed dress ended at her mid thigh with a special design hem which made the bottom of her dress be frilly, it was strapless except for a strap that goes around her neck, and with matching with high heel shoes.  She took a step inside "Hello" she said in a calm voice with Mi Ban standing behind her legs but, once the heel of her shoes hit the tile a loud click echoed through the building. Pushing her blue jean jacket against her chest as a girl ran out in front of her "Hello, I am sorry for not answering you when you called out" she said apologizing tone. The girl quickly bowed as Layi slightly backed up when she bowed "Its okay" she said as the girl corrected her posture to look Layi right in eyes to finish her words. The girl choked up at the sight of her "L-Layi" she said softly as a sign of tears in her eyes which created a happy atmosphere around her.
        Sitting in her laten sisters chair letting a sad sigh escape her pink lips "Layi?" a male voice called out at her curiously when a form was standing next to her desk. Her light brown eyes glanced up to the form with curiously as her hands clenched within their selves  "Yes" she answered with a hint of a calm aura around her form. A gasp escaped her lips "Leo...what is it that you need" she asks curiously as she put her hands gently on the chair arms to help her up if needed. He laughed at her sudden gasp when he kneeled down beside her "Just curious what brings you here" he questioned after he caught his breath from laughing. She giggled at his question as she gave one push against the chair arms which also lifted her off the chair "I came for my last advertisement meeting" she stated while her hand took her blue jean jacket in her hand. He gave her a quick nod as he slowly straighten his form when he stood "Well...when you come to work we will be ready for you" he said calmly as she walked by him nodding with a smile. Giving him a quick nod "Of course....I might be able to get us an extra hand around here" she says coolly when her manager opened the door for her. She gave her manager a soft smile "Since its your last day in your acting career you don't have to be in the room" her manager said as her hand guided her towards the car. A quick nod as she continued till her manager stopped her "Gosh I will fix your hair into a fish tail" she says stubbornly but a hint of sorrow in her voice. Pausing in place glancing at the car "Alright...." she said calmly as her manager started to the fish braid her dark brown hair while tears went down the managers cheek. Once her manager finished braid Layi slowly turned to her smiling softly "Its okay...I will be okay without acting" she stated calmly. The manager nodded "Your the best actor I have managed in years" she said quickly hugging her in tears as she hugged back gently smiling.
        Sitting in the car in sad silences "Layi, we have arrived" a male voice said from the front of the car " Alright" she says calmly as she heard camera's from outside the car door. The driver tilted his hat towards her " Thank you for being an amazing actor" he says happily as Layi opened the door. Glancing at the driver with her light brown eyes "Thank you" she says waving at him then when the heel of her shoes hit the pavement. Click. Came from her heels "Layi has finally arrived" a voice said loudly from a speaker which brought the attention of the camera's "Layi are you really quiting the acting business" a mans voice said. Her manager put headphones in her ear then her hands quickly touched the earphones as she continued up the stairs in a quicken pace.
          She managed to make it up to the second floor of the building when she pulled the earphones out "Layi you don't have to enter the meeting" her manager said calmly. Layi nods smiling as her phone rang "Gramps is calling you" when her manager entered the meeting room. Quickly pulls out her phone out answering "Hey Gramps what you need". "Layi you ready to start the operation" Gramps voice came through the speaker "Yea I am in place just text me when the operation is a go" she answered calmly. With a swift good byes they hung up at the same time as Layi leaned against the railing with a smile of hope.
            With a bored output she began to walk down the walk way looking at her phone in a waiting manner then a man bumped into her roughly "Sorry" the man whispered till her hand caught his shoulder. Stumbling a bit forward she finally straighten her form out "Its okay let me lead you out" she says happily as she wrapped her arms around his bicep. Leading the man out to the back of the building with a quick manner which didn't phase him at all "Who are you" the man questioned curiously keeping the act going between them. Her light brown eyes went up to him with a bright wide smile "I am here on Gramps behalf" she says happily as she opened the back door sneaky like glancing up at him nodding. He nodded back "Alright....you have to stay with me from beyond this point" she said firmly as she hugged his arms tighter as the led them down the alleyway.
