Many people believe introversion and shyness are one and the same, but this is not true. All my life I was told that I was shy. I believed it too... until I learned that shyness is the fear of people not introverism.
WHAT EXACTLY IS AN INTROVERT?
Psychology. a person characterized by concern primarily with his or her own thoughts and feelings (opposed to extrovert).
Examples for introvert: For instance, "person" means something totally different to the extrovert from what it does to the introvert.
