After the test, Alex saw Kate tearing up and storming out of the classroom. "Kate!" Yelled Alex as he ran after her. She ran faster. So did Alex. Eventually he caught up to her. He grabbed her arm. "Kate! What is wrong!"
"Leave me alone!" She shouted as she tried to escape his grip. Alex pulled her into a embrace. His heart started beating fast. His face turned a bright red. But he didn't care. "Kate..what is wrong.." "Ryan..cheated on me.." said Kate as she escaped his embrace and put her pale hands over her eyes. Ryan was Kate's boyfriend. Alex knew there was something shady about him. Alex pulled her back into a embrace. "It's alright Kate. He wasn't worth it. He isn't worth your tears. He doesn't deserve you." Alex caught himself before he said anything else. "Thank you Alex.." said Kate as she pulled away. "I'll just get going.." and with that Kate walked away. Alex stood there dumbfounded. That kinda hurt. They were having a moment , and she just walked away. But he knew. He knew Kate didn't have in passionate feelings towards him like he did her. They both saw each other in totally different ways. Kate saw Alex as a best friend, a buddy, a guy to talk to when she's down. Alex saw Kate as not only a best friend but the light of his life, the reason he was here, one of the only people who made him actually happy. He loved her. Alex and Kate didn't talk for the rest of day. When Alex arrived home he sat on the couch ,turned on the TV (he watched Dragon Ball Z of course) , and ate some Ramen (the shrimp kind). His mom entered the room. "How was your day sweetheart?" "It was great mom.." Said Alex. The day went on, and Alex went to bed early. He laid in his bed and before he closed his eyes he said..
