Jack

Ok so, um, Hi my name is Jackson Williams. My friends just call me Jack for short. This  is just me basically telling you the events that lead up to, well, me. Me now I mean. I honestly don't go outside as much as I used to for obvious reasons, but I'm not going to get into that now. Ok, ok enough stalling, let's get right into the story. This all happened around the time I was 13. So one day me , my brother Adam, and my friend Abi were all just hanging out together. As we were running around, doing kid things, we noticed a moving truck parked outside a house. We were bored so we decided to watch them move in, maybe even greet the new neighbors. Before we could take two steps toward the house, we saw what we thought, at the time, was the prettiest girl in the history of the female gender. Now, us all being pubescent teens, we fought to get to her. Well accept for Adam, he never seemed to find any girl attractive. So Abi and I are running down the street to meet this girl of our dreams, and then I trip and fall. I didn't realize where I was running, but apparently I was running dangerously close to this girl. I thought my life was over.
"Omg, I am so sorry" I said, face now a bright shade of red
"Good going, Jack" said Abi, now walking over to the girl " and who may you be?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Oh, my name is Alice" said the girl.
"Ah, Alice, what a beautiful name" said Abi.
"Since when do you talk like that" I said
"Since this nice young lady came into our lives" responded Abi, still sounding like a gentleman.
Alice turned slightly pink and looked away. Then she looked at me. Unlike her, my face turned deep red. She giggled and began to talk again.
"Well, it was very nice to meet you two, but I need to finish unpacking" she said
"Hey um, d-do you think you might want to hang out later?" I added quickly
"It would be fun, but it's getting late, maybe tomorrow." said Alice
"O-ok, well, goodnight" I said
"Ok, see you tomorrow then" said Alice
And with that she was gone.
"Smooth," said Abi
"Oh, shut up" I said, annoyed and flustered at the same time.
"So," said Adam, now finally coming over "you like her, don't you."
"Don't you start," I began, now completely annoyed "c'mon guys, it's getting late"
On the way home I had to deal with Adam singing 'Jack and Alice sitting in a tree...'. You know, the song all the preschoolers sing when someone has a crush. And of course Adam just had to go up to every person he saw, point at me, and tell them I had a girlfriend. At one point I think I said 'and you have a boyfriend' or something like that. Even at home when we were trying to sleep he kept saying it. Needless to say it got really annoying. But, I managed to block it out with high hopes I could make it all better with Alice.
