Dark, mechanical barks where heard chasing him, as his cries echoed through the woods.
"I'm warning you, I said Stop!"
"You're coming with us."
~A month before now~
This place, it isn't home, it will never be known as my home. All this pain, its real. Everyone else, or should I say, the other dogs here, some where alive, some...they sounded part machine. But, some of them, their dreadful barks was only covered up with dark steampunk barks, voice activated. I'm only here for one purpose. We dogs are programmed to make humans fear us. When we are perfect, according to the humans here, we are put in small cities. Roaming the streets making the humans afraid as they follow the law for their lives. The police are no where around, they are sent to take care of bigger problems. But this lab, its a hell hole.
