"Newt!" Celeste yelped, standing up on her chair.
"Don't panic!"
"Well thanks now I'm going to panic even more!" Celeste yelled sarcastically and looked down at her chair, in which the metallic substance was starting to burn it. "What do you suggest I do instead?"
Newt made a weird noise, looking at the Swooping Evil.
"Jump." Said Newt.
"What?! Now you want me to die too?!"
"Jump on him." Newt commanded, eyes never leaving the Swooping Evil, who was flying around the chair.
"Cel, listen to me," Celeste looked at Newt. "I'll catch you."
Celeste stared at Newt for a moment in hesitation
"Cel," He warned, when the metallic substance began to burn the hovering chair even more, and looked Celeste in the eye. "I'll catch you. I've got you Cel. Go!"
Celeste made a leap off the chair, awaiting her death, until her feet landed on something hard for a moment and she fell straight into Newt, Newt catching her before they both fell.
They panted for a while, Tina running up to them.
"We have to go!" She said.
Newt caught his Swooping Evil and, dragging Celeste, ran out of the room.
"Come on!"
They ran into the corridor, running in front of aurors and then quickly dodging a spell and hiding behind a pillar.
Newt let out his Swooping Evil and it attacked the two aurors, giving Tina, Newt, and Celeste a chance to run away.
"Leave his brains, come on!" Newt said to the Swooping Evil, as they ran off, the Swooping Evil blocking any attacks coming their way.
"What is that thing?!" Tina asked.
"Swooping Evil."
"Well I love it!" She laughed, following Newt and Celeste.
And when they were a few meters away from the stairs, they saw Queenie and Jacob, along with Newt's case
"Hey you weren't obliviated!" Celeste said positively, and Jacob smiled back before a panting Queenie commanded:
"Get in."

When Celeste, Newt, and Tina finally left the case, they found themselves on the roof of a building.
Celeste walked to the side of the building, looking out at the view while Jacob and Queenie flirted about who-knows-what at the small room at the middle of the roof.
"Are you okay?" Newt whispered, and, after a moments hesitation, grabbed ahold of Celeste's hand.
Celeste, startled, jumped a little, nodding.
"Just thinking." She replied, giving Newt's hand a squeeze.
But she wasn't thinking about any old thing, she was thinking about what she saw in the water. When she was young and naive, Leta, Newt, and Celeste were inseparable. They never parted (except during classes, of course), and Celeste never expected Leta to become the person she was after the incident. Heck, Celeste didn't even know where or how Leta is now, but, she knew for sure that she was relieved she didn't have to see her again.
"Graves always insisted the disturbances were caused by a beast." Tina explained to the wizard and witch, standing hand in hand at the side of the building. "We need to catch all your creatures so he can't keep using them as a scapegoat."
"There's only one still missing," Newt replied, looking behind to Tina. "Dougal, my demiguise."
"Dougal?" Tina asked.
"Slight problem, he's--um--he's invisible." Said Newt nervously at Tina, and, Tina, tearing her eyes away from the view, looked to Newt incredulously, pausing a moment before replying.
"Invisible?"
"--Yes." Newt replied. "Most of the time, he does--um--uh.."
"How do you catch so--"
"--With immense difficulty."
"Well, that's reassuring." Celeste commented, laughing emotionlessly, still affected by what she saw in the pool of--well, death.
And then Tina stepped really closed to Newt.
"Gnarlak." She said.
"Excuse me?" Newt replied.
"Gnarlak! He was an informant of mine when I was an auror." Tina explained. "He used to trade in magical creatures on the side."
"He wouldn't have had an interest in, paw prints, would he?"
Tina, looking satisified, replied:
"He's interested in anything he can sell."
"Well, where can we find this, 'Gnarlak'?" Celeste asked.

Tina led Celeste, Newt, Queenie, and Jacob to a dark alleyway, walking down the stairs with Queenie. They then transformed themselves into looking like they were going to a party.
"You too, Celeste." Tina said.
Celeste pouted, then did the same thing to herself, giving herself a red dress. She was oblivious to Newt's staring, and walked behind Tina and Queenie, Queenie giggling to herself when something very clear and resolved appeared in Newt's mind.
She's so beautiful.
