Betrayed

No Regrets

        He nearly fell over on his feet from shock. Anger was quickly replacing his shock and grief.

"What the hell are you talking about? Exiled? Banished!?" He screamed, his teeth clenched. "What's the meaning of this, Laxus?"

The lightning dragon slayer looked at him calmly, compared to the outraged fire wizard. "Please, try to understand."

"No! I won't! You can't do this to me!" Natsu shouted, a lump in his throat. "I've done nothing wrong!"

"You put all of our lives in danger Natsu. You killed innocent people! You attacked us with an intent to kill! You're a mo-"

Natsu blasted fire at Laxus, roaring in rage. "Don't you dare finish that sentence...Y-you don't really mean it..."

Laxus glared at him, blocking the attack. "You are no longer a member of Fairy Tail...You don't belong here anymore, Natsu Dragneel. Out of my sight..."

The dragon slayer glared at Laxus, trembling. "Fine. I'll get rid of this filthy guild mark myself..." He growled, stepping backwards. He was trembling badly. The world around him seemed to just spin, and he wished that this was all just a nightmare. It was real, and there was no escape. Natsu felt tears run down his face as he fell to the ground; his body felt like jelly. His emotions were confusing him...Angry? Sad?

"Hey Natsu..." He felt a hand touch his shoulder.

"Get the hell away from me!" Natsu growled, slapping her hand, making her bring it back to herself. Lucy's eyes widened in shock, tears streaming down her face.

"Natsu please-"

"Leave me alone...You're the reason I'm no longer part of Fairy Tail..." He hissed, getting to his feet.

He pushed past his guildmates, tears falling from his face. He didn't make eye contact with any of them. They weren't his friends. They were traitors. What happened to trusting someone? Believing in them no matter what? What a bunch of bullshit. Liars. Just because of one small thing, they now feared him and lost their trust in him. Fear. Maybe they should fear him. He was going to show them what it meant to feel fear. He was going to show them what a real monster was like...

He reached his house, the rage still fresh inside him. Natsu was still weeping tears, but he didn't care. All those memories...How could they? He grew up in that guild. It was his family and home. And in turn, they kick him out...The pink haired teenager placed his hands on the sign that was made outside of his house.

"There! Done! How do you like that?" A pink haired boy laughed, leaning on the sign. 

"I like it!" Happy replied, smiling.

"A house of your own? How cute! And a little sign to go with it!" A silver haired girl giggled.

"Glad you like it...But it's my house! And no girls allowed, Lisanna!" He laughed, running inside the house, quickly followed by Happy. Lisanna waited outside the door, knocking.

"Hey! I'm your friend! No fair, Natsu!" she shouted.

"Heheheheheee!" Natsu giggled, sticking his head out of a window, grinning. 

The very memory made his stomach do a flip. Natsu burned the sign to ashes, and felt no regret at all.
