"You really think the tooth fairy will come?" Ike asked his parents. He didn't really believe in the tooth fairy, after all, he was 14, but they always made a big deal out of stuff like this.

"Of course sweety! After all, you've been a good boy! I bet you'll get something really good!"

"Oh boy I can't wait!" Said Ike, retreating to his room. How much longer were they going to keep this up? After all, he is a freshmen now.

Ike jumped on his bed and began scrolling through Instagram, but quickly fell asleep.

He woke up to a  scratching noise coming from his window. He checked the clock. 1:57 am. Assuming it was just the wind, he attempted to go back to sleep. However, the noise became louder and more frantic. At this point, Ike became scared of what could be making that noise.

He got up and started inching towards the window. With each step he took, the scratching became louder and all the more frantic. Ike put his hand on the window handle. Suddenly, the noise stopped.

As much as he wanted to run to his parents room, he knew that it would make him seem like a little kid, and then they would never give up this tooth fairy bullshit. With a quick and fluid motion, he opened the window to find nothing there.

He looked around a few moments longer to find what was making the sound, but there was nothing. 'It was probably just the wind,' Ike thought to himself. He turned around to go back to bed.

But laying on his bed, in the exact spot were Ike was previously sleeping, was the silhouette of a small, dark figure in a puffy dress. It was too dark to see. He was sure he locked his bedroom door. This was impossible. He quickly reached for the lamp and turned it on.
