Standing in front of the mirror, seeing myself in this gorgeous wedding dress I had to have thought I was dreaming. It felt as though the pieces of my life were finally falling into place. I had a great job, an amazing daughter, and the woman of my dreams that would soon be my wife.

"Girl, if you don't stop crying I'll just put a bag over your head with a face drawn on it," Callie said, catching the tear that had fallen.

"Sorry, I'm just really happy."

"Yeah yeah," she murmured fixing my makeup. "But aside from you messing up my masterpiece, you look beautiful. Ashley sure is lucky to have you. Hell, if she won't marry you, I will."

"Thanks," I laughed.

"Why do I have the feeling I won't be the one marrying you?" She laughed. We were interrupted by a knock at the door. My dad peeked in, Callie excused herself leaving him and I alone.

"Words can't describe how beautiful you look Maggie."

"You clean up nice too dad," I got up from the chair and hugged my dad. "I love you dad."

"I love you too honey, I'm so proud of you."

"It's time!" Callie said from the other side of the door.

"Shall we?" He hooked his arm out, I held his bicep as we walked down the hall. The chatter died down in the room where the ceremony was being held. I looked up and saw her. She was breathtaking. Ashley mouthed 'wow' toward me and smiled. The music started and my dad and I walked down the aisle before Ashley and her dad. Emma carried the basket of flower petals, dropping them as she walked down the pathway. When Emma reached the end, she went to her right and sat down next to Sevian. I kissed my dad on the cheek and he sat down. Seeing how gorgeous Ashley looked walking down the aisle made the butterflies in my stomach feel almost overwhelming. She flashed her beautiful smile at me before kissing her dad and standing in front of me.

As the minister talked I took in all of Ashley's appearance. Her dress clung to her curves perfectly, her smile lighting up the room. This woman is going to make my heart explode.

"Do you Maggie Stalden, take Ashley Frangipane to be your wife?" The minister said to me.

"I do," I said with a smile. Ashley's cheeks turned a bit red.

"Do you Ashley Frangipane, take this woman to be your wife?" He turned toward her.

"I do."

"I now pronounce you both married." The man looked to me again. "You may now kiss your bride."

I placed my hand on her cheek and pulled her closer to me. Without any hesitation I pressed my lips to hers, for a moment it felt like everything had stopped. Then everyone else in the room clapped and cheered. I broke the kiss and placed her hand on my cheek and pulled me in for another kiss, and another and another. Emma ran up and wrapped her arms out legs. We took her hands in our own and walked back down the aisle.

The ballroom was beautiful. Polished wood floors, white walls and pillars, the tables wrapped around the room leaving enough room for the dance floor.

For our first dance as newlyweds Never Gonna Be Alone by Nickleback played. My hand in hers, her hand on my waist, my hand on her shoulder. We locked eyes. I could feel everyone else's gaze on us. But all my attention was on my wife, Ashley.

"You look gorgeous Maggie," she said pressing her forehead to mine.

"You do too Ashley."

For the father-daughter dance, My Little Girl by Tim McGraw played. Over my fathers shoulder I saw Ashley dancing with her father. I don't think anything could wipe the smile off my face at this point. The song ended and we took our seats. People went around and gave funny, embarrassing and heartfelt speeches. My dads made me cry a bit.

"...and here's my sweet baby girl, all grown up. She's a great mother, nurse and wife. Take care of her Ashley." My dad said before sitting back down.

When we cut the cake Ashley and I shoved a piece into each other's face. We laughed and kissed and laughed some more. Emma giggled when Ashley took some frosting off her cheek and dabbed it on her nose.

We changed out of our wedding dresses a few hours later and got ready to leave for our flight to Hawaii. Ashley and I hugged and kissed Emma and our relatives before driving off to the airport.
