"Another School again?!?" The twins cried. The two Garland twins Lavender and Cherry had transferred schools five times in the year of 2055. "We're sorry girls but we think it would be best." Mrs. Garland replied. The two girls trudged off down the hallway and split paths at their bedrooms. The boxes in the hallway started to fill. Cherry, bringing a box into the hall, started to cry. "It's okay Cherry..." Lavender put a shoulder on her crying sister. Cherry looked up. "NO! It's not okay!" Her voice was shaky. "I made the best friends I've ever had at Oakwood Middle School. Nobody will ever replace Lucy and Elaine!" Lavender felt like crying to but calmed herself down. "Nobody will replace my friends too... But you know who else nobody will ever replace?" "Who?" "You Cherry, you!" Cherry started pouring out tears now, but she was smiling this time. "Nobody will ever replace you Lavender!" The girls hugged together and then split paths to keep packing.
"Again!!!" The twins cried. The same dilemma was happening across the road with the Berman twins Noah and Ethan. They had also moved 5 times that year. The two boys had sat down on the couch after hearing the upsetting news. "Why is it like this every time?!?" Ethan roared. He pushed himself off the couch and looked out the window. It was raining. Noah walked up. "Do you know what's weird..." Noah asked. "What!" Ethan snapped. "Wherever we move... The Garlands are always across from us..." Noah pondered on that thought. "That's just superstition!" Ethan nudged his brother hard. "Ow!" Noah winced. "That hurt." Ethan turned around furious and yelled. "Rub it off!" Noah walked to his room rubbing his arm, like Ethan advised, and mumbled. "Whatever..."
"Family Meeting!" Mrs. Berman called. "Coming mom!" Noah replied. "Family meetings are dumb!" Ethan grumped. Mr. Berman didn't like Ethan's attitude and yelled at him. "Watch your language young man!" Ethan rolled his eyes and whispered. "You watch your language." but nobody heard him. "So boys... you should go to bed... it is you're last day of school tomorrow and than we're moving to South Carolina!" Mrs. Berman smiled at the boys innocently and Mr. Berman put the boys to bed. Ethan tried to sneak away from his father's bed time but his father caught him and deducted 10 dollars from Ethan's allowance. "Not Fair!" Ethan yelled. "Ethan Berman! Watch your attitude!" Mr. Berman scolded.
The boys were in bed and their parents were sleeping also. Noah smiled though. "Ethan, Truth or Dare?" Noah laughed. Ethan blinked his eyes open. "Uh, duh, Dare!" Ethan yelled but then covered his mouth. "Okay then!" Noah grinned mischievously. "You're gonna wish you picked truth!" "Do your worst!" Ethan challenged. "Okay then! I dare you..." Noah laughed really hard and almost fell off the top bunk of their bed. "I dare you to.... Ask...." "Go faster already!" Ethan pushed. "Okay! Okay!" Noah smiled. "I dare you to ask Lavender Garland on a date!" Noah did an evil laugh. "WHAT!!!!!!!" Ethan raged. "A dare is a dare." Noah simplified. Their bedroom door creaked open. Noah dove under the covers and pretended to sleep. "Ethan! Shut your mouth and sleep!" Mr. Berman yelled. Ethan pretend to sleep. He thought all night. "Why Noah, WHY!!!!!!!"
