The sky was dark... lonely. The tall trees are mysteriously overwhelming. The air whistled in the midst of the silence of the magnificent woods, giving shivers to my spine. Even the creaks of crickets are audible.

I walked down on a tricky path of the dark woods. The breaking of twigs and caress of tiny grasses filled my ears. The total unfamiliar surrounding seems to make me go crazy, only then it has even surprised me of having a non bursting cage around my chest. It feels like... like I'm safe.

My mind was unsettled... full of uncertainty. This dangerous woods... I must say it gave me peace of mind. I feel free and away from chaos the world has possessed.

I stopped walking, closing my eyes, arms on both sides.

I took a deep breath and the scent of the purity of the natural air dive ever so faintly in my nose in a calming manner.

A sudden sound of a breaking twig made me aware of my surrounding. Thus, I know I'm not alone. I scanned my eyes everywhere to look for anything suspicious but found nothing. Even so, I am still not convinced I'm alone. I could feel a presence of another being, like I have been watched.. and like I have been followed.

A howl was heard from afar. This time, it made my heart burst from my chest.

I started running to where my feet would take me.

The unconscious running made me stomp on a spikey twig which have wounded my dominant foot. Blood rushed in, fear crept to my mind as I am afraid of my own blood, I fear the pain and of what pain gives. My vision became blurry from tears and of nausea.

The howl has gotten louder and louder.

I whimpered softly as I held my injured foot. The fear along with the pain had me lying on the ground.

Oh god.

Yet another breaking of twig nearby has reached my ear.

I no longer know what to think. Come what may.

The howl and heavy footsteps gets closer and closer 'til a big black creature appeared in front of me, growling loudly.

He growled angrily, slowly making its way to me. It made me think that it's going to be the death of me, but no. He launched at the other frightening dirty-looking grey creature behind me.

Are they... werewolves? Do they even exist? I was so lost in amazement, fear and overwhelm all at once.

They clawed each other, rolling on the floor as they fight.

Now that I look at them. I have noticed the black wolf has a beautiful shining black fur, who was bigger and intimidating in presence whilst the other was covered in dirt, some scars around his body.

It wasn't even a battle. The black wolf easily bit the other's neck, ripping the skin as he threw him on the ground, lifeless, as if he had been just nothing.

He comes closer to me, looking deeply in my eye with his beautiful blue eyes. His eye drops on my injured foot, snorting on the process. His paw reach my foot and I let him, he made me feel safe.

He sniffed my foot gently. I reached for his head to pat it, only to receive a growl.

"It's okay, it's okay. Shhhh," I whispered to him. He lowered his head so I could pat it. He purred.

The moon suddenly shone brighter. Fear crept over me when his head shot up, growling deeply.

He looked at me without recognition in its eyes and started licking the blood on my foot hungrily.
