Dreams do come true

Chapter 1- New story

I woke up in the cold morning of November shivering to head and toe in my bed all 'cause of the power outage last night.
I rolled into a cocoon in my blanket and I felt so much warmer than before. My alarm went off as soon as I got comfortable and then I took my lazy ass out of the newly warmed up blanket I was in. My mom went to my room to try and wake me up but I was already up which surprised her in the least. My family wasn't all close but I was raised the only child because all my siblings are moved out.
I never got to meet my dad cause when I was born he vanished like he never even was here in the first place. My sister always told me that dad was a great noble man but I never got to see or know him to believe it. My phone rang with 10 texts from my friend from my math class saying "you're going to be late again." I rarely go to school on time cause of my sleeping disorder. I have to take meds for
it all the time which puts me in a bitchy mood almost every morning. They make me stay awake thru the day which I'm impressed with the technology we have now days. I sometimes hallucinate on the meds cause they are so damn strong. I took one tab and chugged down some water with it. While I took my pill mom was making breakfast and she asked me "scrambled or sunny side?" 'sunny side." I sat down and wrote in my journal while waiting for food to be done. The aroma was so amazing like a restaurant in Paris. She was the most amazing cook out there. We had a family restaurant that I worked at cause she needed a waiter. She cooked 2 eggs for me and I smiled "thank you mom!" she smiled back and gave me a kiss on my forehead. I eat as quick as possible to get ready for school. I grabbed my bag and put on my shoes as I left out the door. My mom shouted "have a great day dear!" but I was in a hurry to hear her. On the way to school I bummed into a girl with brunette hair and we both fell on our butts. I felt so bad about doing that to her so as I get up I helped her up and picked up her stuff she dropped. "I'm so sorry miss!" she didn't even reply but the only thing shen did was stare in my eyes. I was looking in hers back and she slightly gave a smile across her face. She then walked off and never looked back toward school. I had no idea what that was about but she seemed familiar. I realized I was late so I just ran like no tomorrow. As soon as I arrived a new students name was on the board but I went to my seat to sit down. My friend Aidan always sat next to me and he's been my friend since freshman year. He nudged me and smirked. " what's the matter man wrong side of the bed?" I just realized I didn't brush my hair and teeth and he made fun of me cause of it. "shut up asshole I'm just really tired ok I was late today." He laughed and punched my arm hard which we always do. "hey there is a new student today it's a girl and I call dibs!" I laughed and patted his shoulder. "You kill me with your "manly" charms" We both cracked up laughing. The teacher was coming thru the door with the new student so everyone went to their seats. "students I would like you to meet our new student..." She walked in and I opened my mouth with awe. It was the same girl I ran into this morning. I shook my head and put my head down on the desk thinking it's nothing but a coincidence. "This is Olivia and she is transferring from New Hampshire so please don't try any funny ideas." She stared in my direction and everyone stared at me and I tilted my head up to look at everyone looking at me. "what did I do?" Olivia laughed and she covered her mouth to hide her laugh. She walked to the empty desk next to me and she smiled. She looked so pretty and her smile lit up everyone's day. She just got here but she already had people passing her love notes. I guess I was out of her league because of my nerdy personality. As school went on thru the day it was last period so I just wrote stuff in my journal like I always did. I was always a fan of the supernatural and romance novels cause they had no limit of the imagination to the stories. I wrote down my name in every story I written making me the protagonist. I never really liked putting other people as the hero because I felt like it wasn't me. Olivia was in my last period which was again a coincidence. She walked to me smiling and she sat next to me. "whatcha' writing sir?" I didn't answer cause' I was in the zone. She looked at my story as I wrote it down. She seemed impressed with my imagination and detail in the story. I closed my journal as the bell rang and I stood up grabbing my stuff walking toward the door. "wait!" She grabbed my arm and I looked at her. "Can you walk me home I'm really scared walking alone plus those guys that sent me letters just want to get with me so I asked you cause' you don't seem to obsess over me." She was right but I did like her. "Ok let's go before they come after you." I grabbed her hand and she started to blush while we ran out the doors and down the hall. We both huffed and gasped for air and I was sweating pretty bad. She giggled and she covered her mouth while giggling and I smiled. "why do you try to hide your giggle it's adorable!" She blushed and giggled out of embarrassment. We started to walk toward our houses and we talked on the way. She told me alot about her past life and I told her mine in return. We had the same interests and some different but that was ok. We headed to the paths that we have to part ways but she tugged on my shirt. "can we talk more please?" I looked at her with a smile and she smiled back. We went to my place and my mom looked at us. "This your new girlfriend?" I immediately blushed and shook my head. Olivia giggled and she introduced herself to my mom. "I'm Olivia so sorry for intruding like this we just wanted a place to talk ma'am." she nodded and looked at the both of us. "better not do anything to that poor girl you hear mister!?" I nodded and we went upstairs to talk. We spent hours and hours talking and doing our homework. I haven't had a great conversation like this in such a long time. It was getting late and she started to get sleepy. "hey want me to walk you home?" She shook her head and she got up stretching "No I don't want to cause you any trouble of the deed of walking this girl home" she giggled and I stood up. "well your knight in shining armor is going to protect you!" she giggled again and she pulled me along. "then let's go silly goose!" we went downstairs and I told my mom I'll be back in awhile. She nodded and she let us go out. As we were walking the stars lit up the night and I could see the constellations out tonight. She looked up and pointed to the big Dipper. I smiled and walked along side her. We ended up at her place and she stopped me at her doorstep. "this is the part we kiss and say goodnight." she giggled and hid her face. "that was embarrassing even for a joke!" we both blushed and she smiled. "goodnight." she gave me a kiss on the cheek and she hugged me. I hugged back and we parted the hug. As she was walking in her house and I walked off her porch I felt an chill like someone was watching me from the shadows. I ignored it but then when I got home and fell asleep the next day was upon us.......
