Before you get into reading the story, I do want to say a few things. This story is for a school project that will be adapted into a book- the “essay” version is here for your viewing pleasure. If you have read Setting Up the Holidays and/or Night Spirit Redux, you may already be familiar with Cerebus and Sparx the Heliolisk. They’re the main characters of this story (Sparx will be made into a dragon for the story’s sake)- if you read the second short story of insert a title you may also be familiar with Caramac the Salandit, who will inspire one of the characters here. This takes place in the OCs’ world and is going to be a full-fledged story, but don’t expect something like this from me ever again. As I said, this is only for a project and is to be adapted into a book when I finish writing it. With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy my shoddy attempt at true story-writing.
