Chapter 1

your POV

"Ahh!" you said stretching "Finally! I can go home!" you hear your group of friends laugh behind you. "What is it this time?" you say looking over your shoulder at your friends Mahiru,Koyuki, Ryusei and Sakuya. "you literally didn't volunteer for anything for the festival (Y/N)" Sakuya says as he lets out a loud chuckle "I'm helping out with the maid cafe you moron" you say as you hit him on the head ,and He groans in pain as Koyuki speaks "Does that mean we'll get to see you in a maid outfit?" he says as him and Ryusei start whispering something about you looking cute in a maid costume "possibly, it depends if Mahiru makes one for me" you look over at Mahiru hoping he would say something like 'I'm only making guys maid outfits' or he wouldn't say anything at all. But for all the times you pulled pranks on him or messed with him, he decide to get you back. Mahiru walks over to you and puts a hand on your back "Of course I'll make you a maid costume for the maid cafe!" he says as you sigh, Sakuya and the guys start bursting out in laughter as you turn around and glare at them. "Anyways guys, i have to go home and do some laundry" Mahiru says while running off in the direction of his apartment. "I should go home too. My mom/dad will kill me if I don't get home soon." you voice to your guy friends as you quickly jog home, as it was starting to rain.

While you were walking home you noticed a group of kids poking something with their fingers or sticks, some even throwing rocks at it. "Hey!" you yell in their direction as they look over at you "what do you think you're doing!?" you yell again as they run off and you run to the object. To your surprise the object the kids were poking at and abusing was a hedgehog, You kneel next to the hedgehog and place a hand on its bloody, wet and bruised body, trying to see if you can feel a pulse. Almost immediately after you touch it, its spike's puncture your skin as you pull back and wince in pain. "well that answers my question" you think out loud as you pick up the hedgehog ,once it calmed down. "poor thing" you say as you hold it close to your chest and continue your journey home.

Once you got home you call out too your parents and to your surprise you get no response and see a note on the front of the room door  'going out of town for a few days. Be good, (Y/N)! Love mom and dad' . "Ugh. well I guess i should clean you!" you say walking into your bathroom setting the hedgehog down on the counter, staring at it for a minute "should I keep you?" you think for a second "eh I will anyways" as you walk to your room, grabbing a dog tag a knife and a chain. walking back into the bathroom you set the stuff down and grabbed a dog brush from your previous Dog/Cat/Fish, you start the water in the tub and pick up the hedgehog gently, brush its fur out gently, trying not to hurt it. You start looking through his fur as you notice his wounds are all gone. "What are you? a angel hedgehog?" you let out a giggle as you set him in the tub. walking back over to the knife and dog tag "what should I name you?" You think for a second deciding on the name 'Hyde' "I'll name you Hyde,because you stabbed me one second, and now you're behaving. Also because I've been reading a lot of Jekyll and Hyde recently and you remind me of Hyde"  you say contently and you engrave the first the letters with no problem, but when you got to the letter 'e' you accidentally cut your finger "ouch.." you mumble to yourself before picking up Hyde and putting the dog tagged chain around his neck, then bringing him into the kitchen and setting him down on the counter. You turn around and start your search for a band-aid. Searching through the medicine cabinet you hear a male voice call out from behind you. As you turn around you see a tall man with orange hair, the tips look dyed black, glasses, a tie, a vest and some jeans on sitting on the counter where you left Hyde. "A band-aid won't be necessary Mrs. (Y/N)" The man said hopping off the counter as you back up "Who are you!?! And where's Hyde!?!" you yell at the man as chains connect your wrist to the man's neck. "What was that?!" you yell again hoping to get some answers "A temporary contract, but I plain on making it permanent" he says smirking as he gets closer to you and grabs your hand. You yelp in response trying to get out of his vice-like grip on your hand. "I'm not going to hurt you~" the man says seductively as he put your bleeding finger up to his mouth and sucked the blood from it. You blushed heavily and smacked him as the chains appeared but this time there was a lock around his chain connected to his neck. "Well, I guess you're my eve now Mrs.(Y/N)"
