Many children dream of becoming a mermaid, a fish, or even a shark. To be able to swim effortlessly, to glide through the waters as if inertia didn't exist. Like humans, many creatures underwater dream of the day they'll beach- to come upon the shore for the first time. Our story follows the journey of Octavian, a human/octopus hybrid as he communicates with the land-dwellers for the first time. No one knows what species he is, for his kind have always laid in secret. On the surface he appears as a normal human. On the inside, however, he has organs that allow him to breathe underwater and to shape-shift select parts of his body. This is his story.
