I got up and went downstairs, my parents look sad.. "Mom, Dad? What's wrong?" I ask. "Honey we've been hiding something from you" my mother says. "What?" I look at them. "Veronica, you're adopted" my father adds. "Wh-What?" I say. "You were adopted and you have a twin" she looks down. "Why did you decide to tell me this now?" I add. "Because we had to. We got in touch with Vanessa's parents and we all thought it would be best to tell you, before it's too late" John adds. Yes I'm calling him John because he's not my real dad. "Before it's too late?! Don't you think it's kinda late!!! I'm 18 and no one informed me of this earlier?" I say as I ran to my room and slam the door shut. I looked for a Vanessa.. I'm guessing it's her name since John aka my fake dad told me that they got in contact with her parents. I found alot of Vanessa's but didn't find a person with my face. I opened my door and yell "What's my real last name??!!!!" "It's Merrell" my mom shouts. I get back in my room and search Vanessa Merrell and there she was.. I wonder if she is with my real parents? Or is she adopted too?
Vanessa's P.O.V
Once my parents told me that my twin Veronica was adopted, my first question was: why am I not adopted? My parents didn't want to tell me so I said "fine you know what I'm gonna go look for her!" I ran outside sarted the car and drove off..
