Kaila Rose Miller. That's me. The 17 year old 5'7 dancer with wild curly brown hair and ocular albinism ( a birth defect giving me multi-colored eyes). People say they love how my tanned skin pairs with my blue/brown eyes. They think that just because I have unique eyes and Im a dancer, that I think that I'm better than everyone else.
The truth is...I'm the most ordinary person you will ever meet. My routine consist of waking up, going to school, going to dance practice, playing some violin, and going to sleep. Of course I eat and drink in between.
I am a senior now at Montana Bay High School in New Bedford, Massachusetts. I've lived here all my life with my mom and I practically know everyone. My best friend (all-time gossip buddy) and my mom are the only two people that I completely trust.
My dad died when I was 8. He was in a terrible car accident with a drunk driver. Over the years I have somewhat accepted that there is no way that my father will come back to us. I still can't talk about him and our happy memories because it's hard to remember how amazing he was and then realize that a lunatic is only in bars but my father is 6 feet under.
I focus on getting out of this town and achieving my one and only goal... becoming the most amazing ballerina I can be.
