The smell

A/N: This will be a tough story to write don't judge(Pick of Alpha Jacob above^^)

Jacob's POV

I wake up this morning kind of depressed. It is my birthday and I hope to find my mate. My mom is in the hospital getting surgery done so I am going to visit her soon. I get up to get ready and head downstairs to eat breakfast.

The pack is ready to leave and head to the pack doctor so we get there and I get ready to go into my moms room when I smell the most amazing smell ever!Chocolate and Lilac. I tell Justin, my beta"I'll be right back, my mate is in the building." He smiles and says"Okay-" before he finishes I am gone and up the stairs to the smell. I get to a room and I go in. No one is in there and the smell is strong. Then I look at the bed and I see the most beautiful person ever. She is short, maybe five 1, rosy cheeks, pink plush lips, chestnut hair with olive skin. I notice some cuts and bruises then I growl because I see long scars on her arms. I sit down and wait for her to wake up.

Lacey's POV

I am sitting or actually laying in a comfy bed.Since when I try to move but I can't open my eyes, move or anything. Then I smell this intoxicating smell and I get enough energy to open my eyes and look around to find the smell of Pine, honey and vanilla. I look to the side and see a godly figure sitting in the hospital chair. I start to panic and I say in my head 'already hear to take me. My life exactly.' Then the guy wakes up and comes up to me. I flinch back and he says" sorry honey, didn't mean to scare you. Are you all right." I look away while shaking my head yes. He grabs my chin and I feel amazing tingles in my body then I look straight at him and he says"Hi there, I'm Alpha Jacob Persie, your mate. What is your name gorgeous?" I grab he paper next to me and write down Lacey McCain "what a pretty name Lacey, I love it." I think in my head "If he is my mate then I need to test him first. I write on the paper "what pack are you from?" Jacob says"Wild Throne pack. What pack are you from?" I write"nothing, I was taken hostage when I was 11 and I was already rogue." He frowns then says"Oh, well now you are part of mine. Can you speak?" I write"I haven't spoken in 6 years, I used to get beat every time I spoke, I don't trust you yet. I need time." He smiles and says"Okay pumpkin, anything for you sweetie." I smile and then write "you are very good looking." He looks up and smiles.

He replies"Thanks, you are too sweets." I blush then write "Thanks, so do you know when I get out of here?" "No I don't, I'll ask hold on." He grabs a phone and calls then says" you can leave today, meaning that I can take you home." I slunk down and then write "I don't have a home Jacob, where will I go?"  Jacob smiles and says the best thing in the world "With me Lacey."

I start to cry then write down "really? you would do that for me?  "Yes I would, why wouldn't I?" I look down and fidget with my fingers then he grabs my hand and we just sit there. It was about lunch time when Jacob said "Lets get you home, let me help you up." I get up and forgot the back of the gown was open. Jacob sees my back and stops he yells "WHO DID THIS TO YOU!" I jump back and I write down "my old pack. It's fine, it's my fault anyway, they wanted to touch me and I fought back." He growls really loud.

Jacob's POV

She looks away while shaking her head yes. I grab her chin and I feel amazing tingles in my body then she looks straight at me and I say"Hi there, I'm Alpha Jacob Persie, your mate. What is your name gorgeous?" She grabs the paper next to me and writes down Lacey McCain. I reply "what a pretty name Lacey, I love it." She writes on the paper "what pack are you from?"  I say"The Wild Throne pack. What pack are you from?" Lacey writes"nothing, I was taken hostage when I was 11 and I was already rogue." That hurt me bad then I frown and say"Oh, well now you are part of mine. Can you speak?" She writes"I haven't spoken in 6 years, I used to get beat every time I spoke, I don't trust you yet. I need time." I tear up then say"Okay pumpkin, anything for you sweetie." She smiles and then writes "you are very good looking." I look up and smile and my wolf Bronx does too.

I reply"Thanks, you are too sweets." Lacey blushes then writes "Thanks, so do you know when I get out of here?" "No I don't, I'll ask hold on." I grab a phone and call then say" you can leave today, meaning that I can take you home." Lacey slunks down and then writes "I don't have a home Jacob, where will I go?" I frown then I smile and say "With me Lacey."

She starts to cry then writes down "really? you would do that for me? "Yes I would, why wouldn't I?" She looks down and fidgets with Her fingers then I grab her hand and we just sit there. We get to the pack house and she lets out a gasp. She doesn't have paper so she signs 'It is so pretty, wait, what if they think I'm weak?" I reply back "They won't and if they do I'll punish them." She had her mouth open then closed it. Isaha spoke to me 'She is so pretty Jacob, kiss mate already.' I reply 'really man, did you hear everything she said, she isn't read and she doesn't even know me.' he whimpers then says 'okay, don't say I didn't try.'

We get to the gates and I park the car. I rush over to her door and I open it. I grab her hand and I lead her to the front door. Before we get there I mind-link everyone 'if you rush her she will get scared, she was abused very bad and doesn't talk, be polite.' 'yes alpha.'I open the door and she gets behind me. I grab her arm and put her in front of me then say"Hello everyone, this is Lacey McCain my mate. Lacey this is my pack."

I look down at her and she is smiling and blushing then she does a little wave. Alexis comes up to her and gives her a hug then says"Nice to meet you Luna, welcome to the pack." Lacey signs back "thank you, and call me Lacey, I don't need respect." I translate it "Lacey says thank you, and call me Lacey, I don't need-. wait. Lacey you do too need respect sugar."
