It was another Monday and I forgot to do my homework for the third time this week but It wasn't my fault last night, I had an argument with my girlfriend and ended up just sleeping. I ran downstairs and didn't bother calling out for my parents, they had already gone to work, just like every morning.

On my way to school I saw this short pale girl, I thought she looked weird so I ignored her. Once I had arrived to school, I noticed she was the new junior in my first period, she was actually really pretty, but I didn't know if it was a good decision to talk to her.

As the day went on, she seemed to twitch her fingers a lot. I decided I would finally talk to her, It wasn't gonna hurt. As she was walking home, I stopped her and asked what her name was.

"Hey I'm Justin." I said.

She was silent for a minute.

"I'm Anna." she responded.

I loved her voice, it sounded like an angel talking.

"So how was the first day." I asked.

"I don't have friends yet so what do you think?" Anna responded.

"Sorry...I just was asking." I responded.

Anna walked off and I followed because I wanted to know more about her. There was something about her that I couldn't avoid, it was like I was drawn to her. Anna finally turned around and asked me if I wanted to go with her to the woods that were near by.

I had to think about this carefully because what if she was gonna kill me or something even scarier.

I followed her because she didn't give me a chance to even respond. Anna held her hand out to me and asked me if I wanted to know what it felt like to see my future. At first I was weirded out and didn't know if she was trying to pull something wicked on me. She was moving her fingers just like earlier and all of a sudden a bubble of images appeared in my hand and she kept turning her finger as it happened. I saw myself being killed by a woman but it wasn't specific, I wanted to run off because I honestly didn't know what Anna was trying to do to me.

"Anna please stop! I don't wanna see anymore," I yelled.

"Relax Mr.Justin, I'm not a fortune teller," responded Anna.

"But ...but you just showed me my future through your fingers spinning!" I said.

"I was messing with you, you're not going to be killed, I like to pull these things on guys like you." She responded.

"Why would you do that? I haven't done anything to you." I asked.

"I know your kind, you want to make a girl believe that you want something and then poof you're gone faster than I can say my own tricks." Anna responded.

"Tricks? I don't understand. But I'm not trying to do anything to you, I wanted to be your friend Anna." I asked intently.

"Whatever Justin, and you don't wanna know my tricks. It'll scare you away." She said with such sadness in her voice.

From right there, I knew Anna was gonna be stubborn and I concluded that she didn't want any friends, so I left her where she was and walked away far from her. And to think I wanted to be her friend.
