Day 1: 6:00 a.m. , Dawn.

Hannah?
That THING was Hannah, I'm sure of it.
What had my sister become? What about Beth?
I reached down and touched the now opened wound I received when Hannah had dragged me away....throwing me against the cave wall, leaving me so she could hunt down the others I assumed...struggling to stand, I crawled over to a boulder in the pitch-black mine,
using it to support myself. Everything seemed off..... Like me, I humorously thought.
I'm alone, the fate I was destined to have because of my actions, the effect that always ended badly for the evildoer. My worst fear...

"SAM? MIKE?" I called out. No one responded. Nothing was there, just complete silence and darkness, "Fuck, fuck, fuck , fuck ,fuck." As I tried to take a step, the pain coursed through my body causing me to collapse. I laughed bitterly while I lay there in the dark. "Life's a bitch, anyways." I groaned, trying to lighten the mood for myself in this dim situation.....then a small ray of light shone through a crack in the ceiling, warming my face, indicating the sun had risen. It was like a ray of hope, possibly a way out. Just as I was sitting up to get a closer look, the ground shook. What was that? I thought. I forced myself up just in time for a rock to fall right where I was laying, then another, and another. "What the-" The mine..it-it's collapsing! I managed to run deeper into the mines, till I reached the section where the bodies were hanging, I couldn't even identify the bodies because they were so mutilated. "No, no... NO! I didn't want you to die. It was just a game." The guilt swallowed me, I brought them all here. I caused this "Why did you do this, Josh? Why did you let us die?" I looked around Who-who's there? "Look above you, Josh. Look at all the people you let die." I looked above me and saw the bodies, they were all looking down at me, like, like I was next. "NOOO, NOOO, LEAVE ME ALONE!" I ran out towards the pond where Mike and I were.. just a few hours earlier. Just like that, any glimmer of hope I had was extinguished.

I cautiously walked closer, the water seemed calming as small droplets trickled down a stalactite from the roof of the cavern causing small rings, to turn into larger rings, then slowly fading out into the pond. Home sweet home, Josh. I cupped my hands together and scooped some water into my mouth. "ahh, refreshing." Get an unlimited source of water for just one payment! Your sanity! I laughed to myself while wiping the stray drops of water from my lips. Then it hit me, "I wonder if that thing-uh my sister is still here." I slowly crawled back hiding myself in the darkness. It was dead quiet. The monster could come back at any moment and tear me apart just like my friends.. crap...
