Becoming Fire

Chapter 1

Kitsho woke up at about three in the morning with her heart racing and she felt like she was wild. A trail of flame dancing through her. Kitsho shook her head and looked at her cat. It's grey fur going up in down in calm slumber.
Kitsho rushed outside and saw a fox made of flame, staring at her, it's 8 tails dropped on the grass, it burned into shrilled grass of grey and black. The fox growled and flames blasted off its back in rage and charged at Kitsho. Kitsho kept her guard and the Fox pushed Kitsho's arms away from blocking her face, burning pain blasted through her arms, she pulled her arms away from the blazing orange red paws.
" Hello Kitsho!" The fox said gleefully.
" Who are you might I ask?" Kitsho asked, a bit puzzled.
" Oh I'm your Kitsune friend Sunla!" Sunla said,  clapping her paws with small embers in the air.
" I'm a Kitsune..?" Kitsho asked, flipping herself around, not believing one bit.
" Are you telling me you don't beleive.. What a disgrace!" Sunla hissed under the flames crackling of her pelt.
Kitsho hasen't thought of that, she clutched her hands together," I do believe..—" Kitsho stopped her speech as her skin formed into red, orange and yellow shaded fur on the tips and back. Her tails weilding 5 tails, the tip char black. Her eyes were deep red like crimson." Please don't tell me this actually happened.." Kitsho flicked her tails and looked down at her paws and yipped  loudly and fell back, a plume of smoke shot out her mouth. Sunla swerved in zigzag over to Kitsho on her back." Oh get up!"Kitsho sat up and shook herself, sparks coming off her back. "You really need to warn me if this ever happens to me again.."Kitsho growled, whipping around and walking through the doorway, her paws touched the grass and it burned into crisp. Sunla frowned and patted Kitsho on the head.

"WILL YOU NOT TOUCH ME YOU FIRE BALL!!" Kitsho roared. Sunla moved her flaming paws away from Kitsho's head. Kitsho sprang across the grass, her body feeling kinda hot which was worrying. Sunla looked around and then flew around a tree in a blur. Kitsho's eyes narrowed into a slit," I got you!" she bounded forward, her feet under her and quickly charging at the tree. She lunged and shot a blast of fire at the tree and Sunla flew off the tree. Now i got you.. Kitsho thought and skidded on the burnt grass and leaped ontop of Sunla, the burning pain being ignored. "What was that for!" Kitsho snorted," You ran away from me!" Sunla wrinkled her snout and bursted out laughing. "I made you follow me because I wanted you to follow me to a place!" Kitsho rolled her eyes, her ears flattening and dragged her tails across the ground, she slunk low to the ground as her paws ached to take a break as they both walked across the grass until they reached a rocky path. Humans not noticing she stepped onto their territory," Think they noticed me..?" Kitsho whispered, a little whimper escaping her tongue. Sunla shrugged and warped into a orb, Kitsho grabbing it with her paws and sat back on her tails as a cushion. " A fire orb? What? For my power.." Kitsho murmured and Sunla whipped out of her paws and around her flank. Alright just sit there! Kitsho thought grumpily, she gulped as she shifted her paws onto the ground as her tails shot up, checking for other people if they noticed a red, orange and yellow Kitsune was roaming. Hey if you read the scrolls.. Kitsunes are pretty important to these guys.. As you know you live in the home of Japan.. Sunla's voice echoed through her head. Ow my ears! Kitsho growled. Kitsho narrowed her ear back and whipped her head around to see somebody walking torwards her(or made it sound like it) Kitsho shivered and whipped out of her Kitsune form and tumbled onto the ground, spitting out grass," Sunla?" Sunla took a minute to reply as a flaming blur came down beside her.
" I'm here!" She whispered
Kitsho peeked over the tree she was watching from, noticing Kitsune masks and titling her head sideways and hopped down and looked for anybody around and snatched one and tumbled over to Sunla," You think I might need this?" Sunla nodded. Kitsho placed it on her face. Well ain't I going to be noticeable.. Kitsho sighed.
Sunla slipped up a tree, Kitsho then now realizing she became a Kitsune again. A voice shrieked from a bit away and Kitsho growled, shivering and fur puffing out, she lowered her head as the person approached. Kitsho raised her head and shot flame infront of her," Back off!" Kitsho snapped and slipped away, Sunla racing behind, her flaming pelt creating smoke. The person started chasing Sunla and Kitsho. She turned her head and yanked Sunla into a tree and Kitsho turned into a human. The person stopping to see Kitsho with her mask still on. This is going to be hard controlling this. " Hello there.." Said the person, examining Kitsho's looks for a minute. " Have you seen a fox with 5 tails around?" Kitsho wanted to nod but shook her head. The person nodded and left. Kitsho collapsing and turned into her Kitsune again. This is a on and off power now..? Sunla bounced onto a wall, Kitsho racing up the wall to sit beside Sunla," What are you looking at?" Sunla turned her head at Kitsho.
