She Didn't Notice

I loved our little talks.
Our talks that lasted forever, yet barely lasted a moment.
Our talks which spoke wonders, yet we barely spoke at all.
Our talks in which a young boy out reached his hand for something more...
But she didn't notice.
The awkward attempts at flirting, and the sweet gestures. But they disappeared into a dark void....
Because she didn't notice.
The compliments of her beauty muttered from my voice, but were muted by the world around.
     And she never noticed.
Was I angered at her unknowing? No, for I myself was blinded by her grace and mercy, that I could not see her disinterest.
     For I noticed her,
     But she never noticed me....
    But she noticed him.
