Not Yet Darling

Alex POV:

Hey! My name is Alex, I admit it I'm a nerdy girl. But I do have a other talent I love to do, and this talent is art. No one knows about it because I'm afraid someone might make fun of me about it, and yes I get bullied 24/7. I know it might be bad but you know, The haters are gonna hate😜 I'm 17 years old and I go to East high, and high school full of bunch of jerks. Except one and that is of course my bestie Jane. She and my parents are the only ones that know my secret art talent. I know I may like school but sometimes I just want to stay home a finish up a good book. But of course today is the first day of school and I can't miss it

I hear my alarm clock go off and I groan, I hate waking up early( I feel ya girl😋) my long dirty blonde hair is all over my face. When I sit up I'm greeted by the view of all of my paintings.'I really need to finish that painting' I think as I stare into a painting with beutiful blue sky with stars that really sparkle, but the other half is completely empty. I've been trying to re-paint the Starry Night, The Starry Night is and has been my favorite painting since childhood, that painting has convinced me maybe I can paint like that sorta way. And so that's how it all began, the severer talent of painting. After I snap back from my day dreaming I jump out of bed, go brush my teeth, brush my hair then I curl it, I don't Wear makeup because I think true beauty lies behind the mask of makeup. I grab my ripped tight jeans and my comfy sweater. After I change I grab my tan shoes and gray backpack. Once I get seated into the drivers seat I head off to Starbucks. I usually wake up early so I can grab my breakfast at Starbucks, my parents Allways sleep in because they work really late, my mom takes the night shift in nursing and my dad is a janitor so he has to stay up late and clean up the office. Once
I get my favorite latte and lemon bread I head off to school.

I see my best friend Jane waiting for me at the entrance of the school. So I park my rusty, dirty, four doored 1980's pick up truck. Other people think it's lame. But I think it looks really cool. Once I meet up withJane she gives me the proper greeting that Jane gives. She runs up to me and hugs me to death

" What's up Alex?" Jane asks
"The Sky" I say not trying to be funny
Jane starts laughing so hard I saw water droplets at the edge of her eyes.'what did I say' I thought as she starts to calm down
"Alex, even though you don't try to be funny you really crack me up" Jane says as she puts a hand on my shoulder giving me her famous smile
"You ready?" Jane asks as I start to tremble.

The thing is that I NOT ready. I afraid, really afraid that someone will give a proper welcoming with a slap to the face. Jane noticed this and gave me a hug." Don't worry Alex I will be by your side ever step of the way. I hugged her back and said" you know I love you right?"( as a friend not in a romance way, just putting that out there if you're wondering, ok ACTION!) " I know!" Jane gives me one of her biggest smile, I'm so lucky to have a friend like Jane, she is Allways there by my side and she steps up for me when ever someone starts to bug me. She is truly a great friend.

" Well? What are we waiting for let's go!!" Jane grabs my hand and runs inside the school. I'm not much of a runner so she practically drags me to out first class, luckily we have the same fist period together.

On the way to class Jane suddenly stops and I get confused

"What's wrong?" I ask Jane as she replies

" oh, just a little traffic" I look ahead and see a crowd of girls surrounding someone. I quickly realize what they are looking at. Jason Gardner the TOP Badass/Playboy at our school.  He has dark Tom hair that is perfectly styled and is wearing a hoodie that makes his face pop out. The thing is every girl in the school fawns over him, but I don't, I really don't see the handsome and perfect person everyone else sees. As he gives every girl a wink, every girl with his charm faint.' These girls are really dramatic' I think as I of course didn't faint. But Jane has a little crush of her own on him and as well faints. As my ride to class is laying on the floor, I suddenly feel a pair of eyes staining at me.

I turn around and spot Jason starring at me. I shrug of the uncomfortable feeling and keep walking to class, while doing this I had to drag Jane.'she is heavier than she looks'. When I finally reach the classroom I sit in the back so no one can se me draw in my notebook. A little after the bell rings, I see the all mighty Jason walk in the classroom. He sealed the classroom and his hazel eyes land on me. He started to walk towards me and said the most unexpected thing I could hear

"Fall in love with me"
