The thrill of the race. Baddum, baddum. The clock starts and then baddum, if you're late, you die. Tick until tock. Faster. It's win, or die. A race has never been so terrifying. Here's the deal: You get given enough oxygen for one lap, if you're too slow, you die, if you reach the end in time, you live to run another race. Baddum, baddum. Beat after beat. I'm not talking about us. I'm talking about blood. Here's my deal: You get given enough oxygen but there's a catch; you also have a tiny bit of poison on you, slowly killing you and holding you back. How do you defeat it? You don't. You can only prolong your life in the race by getting to that oxygen. It's simple. Go faster than average blood and you'll allow yourselves and me, your host, to live longer. Baddum. Run! Baddum.

After all, this is all part of the fun, right?

A race where there are only two outcomes. Life or death. Eventually though, everything comes to one of those two outcomes. Can you guess which one?

I'll give you a clue. It isn't life.

Do you want to know who I am? That's a little unfair don't you think? You haven't even introduced yourself. Let's keep it a secret. It could become part of the fun.

Clock's ticking by the way.

Baddum.

Baddum.

I'll see you around. In the next race.

Coming first doesn't matter really, just finishing in time; but finishing first does give you a better chance at finishing in time in the next race doesn't it? This'll be really fun for me. I wonder, how fast does your blood really flow?
