In Greek Mythology, the story of Pandora has been told through the ages.
The first woman created by the Gods.
Ordered by Zeus himself, Pandora was created by Hephaestus using water and Earth's clay.
After her creation, she was blessed with multiple gifts from the gods.
Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, provided her with clothing.
Hermes, the God of Language, gave her speech.
Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty, blessed her with stunning features.
Apollo, the God of Music and Truth, granted her a marvelous music ability.
According to the myth, Pandora opened a jar which unleashed all the evil spirits onto the world. However, through the years and due to poor translation, many believed it was a box that had been opened.
From that point on, it was known as Pandora's Box that was known as what was responsible for unleashing the evils of the world.
In the Summer of 2000 BC, a disturbance outside of a small town in Italy alerted authorities and later on government officials. A young woman appeared, she was beautiful yet timid. Clothed, but not in familiar clothes to the era.
She did not speak.
She panicked.
Appearing harmless at first, a local law enforcer went to restrain her, believing she was probably high off her rocker on some sort of plant found in the region. But when he got too close for her comfort, she attacked. She blinded him with thick black smoke that appeared from nowhere, and then burned him as her hands gripped onto him tightly trying to keep him from grabbing her.
As soon as she heard the man cry out in pain, she released him, taking a step back out of fear of what she had done. Before the authorities could open fire, she surrendered herself.
Taken into custody, the woman either refused to speak or was considered mute by the officials. She appeared nowhere in the databases, and fit no descriptions of a missing person throughout the world.
She had no identity.
So, they named her Pandora.
And they kept her in a box.
Pandora was kept from the outside world, in fear that if someone were to ever release her from the box, an unknown evil would be unleashed upon the world.
They were right, for all the wrong reasons.
And now, shes free, vengeful and with a score to settle.
