Hello there, my name is Sabrina. I know, these introductions are always boring. But let me say this, you will want to hear this story.
I'm short, I have long blonde hair, and I'm fairly skinny.
I like to think of myself as independent, caring, and trustworthy. But, after you hear my story, you can decide for yourself.
Now, let's get started shall we?

I walked slowly on the sidewalk outside S.T.A.R. Labs, trying to move around the crowd of people. The building new to me was large, and very futuristic. Everything was white, and there was giant gates everywhere along the property lines.
Everyone was gathering in front of the lab to hear Dr. Harrison Wells' speech about his particle accelerator. It was suppose to change the world, advance our knowledge about-well everything, really.
I looked over beside me in time to see a man steal a girls purse and run. She hurriedly said something to the boy beside her and he was immediately running after him.
"Hey!" He yelled at the running boy.
I turned my attention back to the stage when the girl finally decided to follow them.
Harrison had already began his speech, although I wasn't paying attention to anything he was saying. I know exactly what the particle accelerator was suppose to be. It was all everyone spoke of for months now.
Harrison walked back inside, two people following behind him. Half of the crowd vanished off the streets. I walked slowly along the sidewalk, waiting for something, I wasn't sure what.
I decided to sit on one of the benches. As i sat in silence, images of mother kept showing up in front of my eyes. I blinked them away, trying to get rid of the memories.
I stood off the bench and decided to go home, giving up on what I was waiting for. I looked at the ground as I walked.
A cold breeze hit me and I shivered. I looked up when I heard the sounds of people screaming all around me. I looked into the sky just in time to see a blinding light.
I closed my eyes and looked away, then I was knocked off my feet. I hit my head on the ground and all I remember is the cold concrete against my warm skin.

Author note:
I know it's short. It's my first part to this book, so please just be patient. They will get longer, I promise.
Please let me know what you think of my writing so far.
I'll tell you guys a little secret (or at least the ones that cared to read the authors note), Sabrina has quite a few secrets. Do you think she'll ever tell anyone about them?
She has had a really dark past, but still manages to be positive and caring.
That's all I have to say for now. Thank you guys for reading. (If anyone is readying.)
