"The love that last the longest is the love that is never returned." - William Maugham

So my name is Roxanne Jones but some people call me Roxie.

What else can I say, I am known to be sarcastic, witty, outspoken and lovable. (Note sarcasm for the last one).

I go to Singford High, a school known for excelling in sports, academics and arts.

If you must know,  the only thing I am good at is  academics.

Solving a math problem, sure. Kicking a ball, hell  to the no.

Right now I'm in a boring lecture for World Geography, luckily it's the last period on Friday.
Thank goodness it's Friday, so I can go home and watch  Bones and NCIS with some Kentucky Fry Chicken.

The bell finally rang signalling that I have made through another day in this hell hole disguised as a place for teenagers.

I went to my locker when I felt someone jump on me from behind causing my head to bump into the locker.

" Oops sorry Roxie, guess I don't know my own strength." A voice giggled behind me.

" Yeah right and Patrick Star has a brain inside his head." I turned around to see my best friend Isabella Ross.

She is average height being 5"3" has blonde hair that almost looks golden in sunlight that is also long and wavy. She has sea green eyes, rosy cheeks that look puffy almost  like a chimpunk's and rosy lips.

Today she was wearing a black tank top that read ' I may look angelic but that doesn't mean I am ' in pink, a faded blue jeans and black knee high boots.

" Technically he has one it's just small."

I rolled my eyes (something else I'm known for).

" So what are you doing tonight?"

" Grandma is visiting so you know she'll probably take up the whole weekend but I love her so much I don't really mind, how 'bout you or is it the usual?

" Yeah just the usual, Mom's working out of the country for some business deal, same with dad, so yeah just me."

"Too bad."

"Not really I prefer to be alone."

"Not if it the person is Sean Vasquez." She giggled talking about my long time crush.

I blushed a deeper red than I thought normal.

Sean was the golden boy of the school, but not for his athletics, but because of his kind nature and of course his wealthy parents. He gets all A's and all the teachers love him, especially the females.

Of course who wouldn't be attracted to his dark chocolate brown hair that falls slightly over his forehead that was right above his emerald green eyes and pink lips. Not to mention his strong jawline and perfectly white teeth.

Well I'd love to give you a more detailed description of him but sadly he's not here,  he's been sick for the past two days.

" Whatever." I said still looking like the color of Ariel the mermaid's hair.

I can see the look on her face that she wants to say more but her ride came so that was the end to that embarrassing conversation(for now).

But trust me it's not the end of it.
