(Y/N)'s POV -

I was walking down the streets of New York. Yes, you read that right, New York.... the place I have been longing to go since 9 years ago and now here I am finally. Instead of seeing it in Adam's vlog or pictures on the internet, I'm walking on the steps and breathing the air of New York City.

A successful nurse I am now with an amazing salary, might I say I have a lot of money in my bank right now which a few years ago, I would have spent foolishly and lavishly on stupid things but now when I'm holding the amount of money I have desired for for as long as I could remember... I have no idea what to do with it. I have gotten a house in New York just like I wanted, finally have given my parents an amazing life that they deserved after the multiple amount of sacrifices they have made for me also my nieces and nephews are beyond spoiled by me but I'm missing something- someone in my life, a soulmate.

I sighed as I walked into my favourite coffee store since I moved here, Aunty Jamaica's. They sell the most amazing coffee that I've ever tasted in my whole life. When I moved here 2 years ago and tasted the coffee here, I immediately knew that I was gonna be an coffee addict and boy was I right. I ordered my usual but before the barista could prepare my drink, I asked for a change. For the first time in 2 years, I had went for a different drink than my usual. The barista was shocked by my sudden change but still happily went along to prepare it for me.

I felt somehow different today but I don't know the reason why.

Yet.

If only I had knew that that day wasn't going to be my usual stroll in New York City because I was about to meet the one I've been waiting and longing for.

I took a sip of my spicy cinnamon tea as I let the warmness seep in throughout my body, I took out my phone as it vibrated and saw that I got a message from this astrology that I had subscribed to.

"Be extra careful today, you might just meet the love of your life."

I chuckled and deleted the message. I had a thing for astrology for years now but everything that was sent by this certain astrology has never happened. If only I had took the message more seriously that day.

As I open my Twitter, I bumped into someone and dropped my tea all over me and the cup fell out of my hands and onto the street.

Burned.

That was how my skin and heart felt at that moment. My skin caused by the hot tea and my heart because of the fact that my new favourite drink had gone to waste without even having gotten to drink 1/4 of it. I looked up and was about to apologise and walk away because it was my fault too, when I was almost knocked off my feet.

Standing right in front of me was the person I had admired for my whole teenage life, having seen and listened to him through my phone only and being able to meet him that one time he came to Singapore was Adam Saleh.

I had forgotten about him for 3 years now. Work had kept me occupied so I didn't have the time to watch him, he also hasn't posted much. Last I heard about him was that he was about to get engaged. That broke me into pieces, I spent a week crying and not going to work and soon I realised how dumb I was being and continued on with my life without the need of knowing about Adam's life every single day.

I suddenly felt the heat that was radiating off from my elbow and soon I felt something else, sparks. I felt sparks there, where he was holding me to keep me from falling.

His eyes was much more mesmerising than how they looked like from my phone screen.

His ever so perfect beard, hair and I could feel his biceps from where I was grasping onto him.

His styles hasn't changed that much but I could see the bags underneath his eyes, showing that he got lack of sleep.

Soon, I realised he was staring at me too just as I was he. I moved away from our awkward position after some time as we were getting looks from people walking along the streets.

He asked if I was okay and I said yes.

He asked to get me another cup of drink and I said yes.

He asked me if I was single and I said yes.

He asked me if I was in love with someone and I said yes.

Little did he know he had stolen my heart 7 years ago and now he's done the exact same but this time it was a stronger feeling that was bursting through my body.

He was pulled to me just as I was pulled to him. Like a magnet attracted to each other, we got together with such ease.

I was happy, finally.

That once empty spot was now filled and I couldn't have asked God for a better person.

Unexpected but delighted and blessed.

A few months later, he got on one knee and asked me if I wanted to get married and yet again, I said yes.

Now I'm 34 and I'm blessed with the most amazing husband, two beautiful daughter and my precious baby son.

The end.
