Vincent, a world renowned philosopher, was teaching his students in oxford university. They were all staring at him in amazement. They were transfixed. "Who are we? What is our purpose? Are we all just figments of our imagination?" These were the questions he was asking his students. The aim of his questions were to provoke them to think existentially. It was working, since his joining of the university its philosophy department had improved noticeably.
Vincent didn't just teach in oxford, he was wanted constantly in London and in fact, after his current lecture he would be heading there for another. Vincent always said that he wanted to be one of the greats, but what people always told him was that he was! After all, he was in all of the current newspapers for his most recent book and was being compared to Wittgenstein.
But it was during his lecture in London that he fell. He was talking about Christianity, and how it is compared to modern day Britain. His view has always been that this prejudice was false. How could a figure like Jesus be compared to a culture so sinful? He questioned. Some were offended. Some were confused. But everyone wanted to hear more. Unfortunately that desire for more was not satisfied. His lecture was interrupted buy Vincent collapsing and fainting. Only to awake in a hospital bed 3 hours later....
