Running. His feet slapping the wet asphalt, his heart pounding with the responsibility of life. They were coming up behind him laughing and screaming with excitement like a pack of screaming hyenas before the kill. He tripped, his blood started streaming from a wound on his knee, he got up. They caught up and pulled him down again. he started to struggle while two of them held his arms down and the leader started to reach in side his jacket and pulled out a blade and in a swift and fluent motion he pierced the young boys neck. The boy was barely noticing that he was dying, nothing else in the world mattered except for him and the pain in his neck.the pain was like the cells were screaming, screaming so loud like the final words of a short life, a life that never got to live.
when he opened his eyes it was dusk and his body was cold and stiff. Nobody was around so he got up his joints protested against the request of moving but eventually he won the battle and got up . he looked around he didn't know where he was he was in a town with short little grey buildings, he went up to a building with small 4 paneled windows he rattled the door handle. it was locked he rattled it again there was a loud crack and it opened he was in a living room and saw an open door filled with light. he went into the room , it was a bathroom he looked in a mirror over the small cracked sink he was older than when he woke up he guessed to be 14-15 with a pale face and eyes like the silver of a blade. He looked at his neck it had a switch blade up to the handle buried in it. he tried to pull it out and after a moment of struggle he pulled it out and it was covered in a warm sticky blood although his neck seemed to not be bleeding. the door creaked open and a small child looked at him with eyes filled with horror and disgust as she gazed upon his body. he felt the blade in his hand, and saw the girl he saw how she looked at him like he was a monster, like he was was going to kill her.
