Just The Beginning

Dan's POV

We were just on the train on the way to the airport when I look over and see the most beautiful person I've ever seen, she had long brown hair and the cutest green eyes, she had a sort of turned up nose that swooped all the way from the top to the bottom, a petite mouth that made it look like she was smiling constantly. I spent about 5 minutes getting the courage to go talk to her and when I finally did, of course I fucking stuttered, on the bright side she didn't seem to notice, or care. Either way, she was about 5"4 ish and I learnt her name was Katherine. She gave me her number and I gave her mine. To my surprise she started texting me straight after she got off the train. Phil didn't seem very happy about all this though unfortunately, god knows why.

Phil's POV

I couldn't help but be upset, I wanted to be happy for him, trust me, I really did. But I couldn't and he still hadn't realised why. Sometimes I'm glad he's so oblivious but other times it pisses me off so much. If you hadn't already realised then I'm in love with him, he just doesn't realise. Either that or he knows and chooses to ignore it and hope my feelings for him change. I wish they could but I've tried to move on and it's failed  so many times. I'd say online dating went the best, shame they turned out to be straight and actually just catfishing me. quite a funny story honestly and we're actually quite good friends now. He knows that I was only trying to get with someone for a one night stand (most likely anyway) just so I could move on from Daniel. I can ust get a bad feeling from Katherine, like I know she'll play him, I remember last time Dan dated someone that played him about, he just slept with people for months after that it got to the point that he actually tried to sleep with me multiple times, in the end I just let him because I know that friends sleep with each other when drunk anyway so I got a bit high then yeah. Since then I've always had feelings for him, and this was about a year and a half ago now. Although I'm glad he's finally finding someone else, I'm just upset that it isn't me.

Dan's POV

When we finally got to the air port I text Katherine to say I had to go and honestly she was sooo sweet, once I stopped talking to her Phil seemed to cheer up. I asked why this was, he just responded with "oh, I seem happier now? sorry, it's just because we can finally board this plane and get to vidcon (find out where set.)" I could tell he was lying, I could tell by the tone in his voice, it changes when he lies, especially about stuff like this. I feel bad because he's acted weird ever since we fucked about a year and a half ago, I feel bad about the fact that I asked him until he finally gave in but I was always drinking and I had no one else at the time.

*time skip to when land in area of vidcon*

Dan's POV

we finally landed in______ when we saw Tyler and Troye stood near the bagging are with a sign with a fuck ton of rainbow glitter and writing all over it with our names on. I ran over to hug the short lil' peasants, I missed them so much. "they're all back at the hotel, you're the last ones here" spoke Troye in his sort of mix between British, Australian and South African accent. We started heading to the hotel after we got our bags. I texted Katherine when we got into the hotel and once again Phil got upset, I spoke to Troye about it and he went and got Zoe for me.

Zoe's POV

Troye suddenly knocked on my door and ivited himself in and started speaking very fast about Dan meeting some girl and Phil being upset today. I rushed over to my phone and called phil and told him to meet me immediately in the café across the street. I met him within 5 minues and as soon as we were sat down I got straight to the point "so you still like Dan then, huh?" "of course I do Zoe, he's the definition of perfect. But I'm guessing he told you he's found a girl..." he replied

"well, not exactly, Dan's noticed you've been upset and told Troye and then Troye came to me about it"

"of course, well yeah, of course I'm upset about it but we both know he can't know the reason why."
