Alvin and Simon sat on Simon's bed transfixed in loving, mutual embrace. Theodore stated "W-what the? I'm sorry, I'll just leave."
He walked out of the room leaving his eldest brothers afraid of any potential repercussions that might follow their actions. Alvin and Simon pulled away from one another. "Theo just saw us kissing and is most likely going to tell Dave. What should we do?" Alvin asked frantically.
"I don't know, you're supposed to be the one that always has a plan!" Simon exclaimed as he let his nerves get the better of him.
Theodore walked to Dave's room and knocked on the door then waited for a reply. Dave opened the door and stated, "Can I help you?"
He responded excitedly, "Dave I've got something to tell you!"
"Okay Theodore, come in and tell me what's wrong." Dave stated as he guided his youngest son into his room and continued once he shut the door, "What is it Theodore?"
He replied in a calmer tone, "I just seen Alvin and Simon kissing in our room."
Dave asked in a disturbed manner as he tried to keep his composure, "You did, did you?"
He said in response, "Y-yeah, I did."
Dave exhaled nervously as he stood and turned to the door and replied to Theodore, "I think I'm going to have a talk with Alvin and Simon about this right now. Theodore, I want you stay right here."
"Yes Dave." the youngest triplet replied as he sat on his father figure's bed.
Dave departed form his room hoping that there was no merit to what his son told him. It's not like him to make up stories, that's usually Alvin's forte. Dave almost hoped he was lying or misinterpreted what happened.
He walked into the boy's room and found Simon reading a book and Alvin strumming his guitar. Nothing of the sort was uncommon activities for them. Dave cleared his throat to get their attention and proclaimed, "I want to talk to you two."
Alvin and Simon said in unison, "Okay dave"
Dave took a seat on the bed that was unoccupied. Alvin put his guitar away and Simon marked his place in the book and asked, "What is it?"
Dave gathered his composure and questioned, "Is it true that you two where kissing a few moments ago?"
Alvin and Simon didn't say anything. Dave continued, "Okay then, this is what I'm going to do. I'm going to ask you two one at a time and I'm going to start with Simon. Alvin, I want you to go to my room and stay with Theodore."
Alvin stood and walked to the door and said, "Yes Dave."
After he left the room and his footsteps couldn't be heard, Dave said "Okay Simon, where you and Alvin just kissing a little bit ago?"
Simon replied with a hint of shame in his voice, "Yes, we were."
Dave continued as he rubbed his temples, "Why the hell were you two kissing?"
"Because we love each other more than most brothers do." Simon answered nervously.
Dave hesitated for a moment before he continued, "How long has this been going on?"
"Two months now, and nothing can keep us apart. I love Alvin." Simon stated as he folded his arms.
Dave swallowed heavily and continued with his interrogation, "Have you guys done anything other than kissing before?"
