This kid is fucking 15 years old. He does not know how to convert a fully functioning artificial intelligence into an in-game item, fully textured and accessible through the inventory. That would be a problem for a professional, and even if it wasn't a problem, yoU COULD NOT DO THAT IN FIVE FUCKING SECONDS.
If you're just going to bring back Yui anyways there is no point in even "killing" her. If you want her to temporarily be gone, maybe make the game try to erase her like it did but make her hide her code in an inaccessible folder somewhere. I'd buy that more than Kirito magically becoming the best programmer in the world. Yui would know more about how the files are organized than Kirito anyways.
Oh well, this is just one of the many bullshit scenes in this bullshit anime.
