Meet me in central park - Jace. Clary read the text message and gathered up her art supplies,
"Bye Mom!" She yelled as she closed the door behind her. Central Park was usually a 5 minute walk but with the speed of a shadowhunter Clary got there within 2 and a half minutes and immediately saw a mop of golden hair among the dead grass and passing people.
"Jace," She puffed, "What is it?' Jace looked down at the ground and looked extremely guilty
"mnotnlovwthyouanmore." He mumbled. Clary raised an eyebrow and friendly pushed his shoulder,
"Hey, you can tell me. I can handle it." Jace took a deep breath and exhaled,
"I'm sorry Clary, I-I am not in love with you anymore. Deep down I've always known this but I wanted you to be happy, but now it is too much. I need to be with Maia, she has captured my heart and she holds the key to it. Goodbye Clarissa." Jace mumbled. Clary froze and was stiff as a board, before she could say anything, she slapped him as hard s she could across the face as she felt water streaming down her face, she turned around and ran as fast as she could without looking back, except to see the horrified expression on Jace's face and where the handprint had left a mark on his right cheek.

"It's OK baby," Said Jocelyn as she caressed her daughter's cheek, "This happens to everyone--"
"Mom, please. Just let me alone, I need to be alone." As Jocelyn opened her mouth to speak Luke stormed through the door,
"Where is he? I promise you I will tear his throat out if you ask me to Clary." Clary put her head in her hands and buried herself under all of her blankets, implying that she wanted them to leave. She heard to door shut and reopen,
"Mom, I told you to leave me alone!" Clary shouted whilst throwing a pillow.
"Last time I checked, I wasn't your mother." Said a low and mellow voice, Clary came out of all the blankets and looked up.
