--Castiel's POV--
I woke up at 5:55. Of course, five minutes before my alarm was set to go off. There was no point in going back to sleep now. Damn it. I look over to my already packed backpack, it was ready for the first day of my senior year in high school. I'd really set quite the reputation to most people in my grade, a sarcastic jerk. That's not really who am though, unless it is. I'm not quite sure anymore.
I wander out of my room and let the rest of my brothers sleep. It's not like I love when they're pissed at me because I let them be late for school or work, it's just funny.
I look at the clock when I'm finished and it's 6:03. That gives me some extra time to do whatever I want. I spend 7 minutes making faces into the mirror and practicing putting eyeliner on. Then I go outside to wait for the bus.
When the bus pulls up in front of my house I see that they left the dick I spray painted on the side of it.
I get on and see a shitload of ninth graders are now riding my fucking bus. At least none of those fucking infants stole my spot. I stride to the back, giving my signature bitch face to each of those little shits. When I get to the back, I see that someone actually is sitting in my spot. He is wearing a hood so I can't see him.
"Hey douche nugget. Get out of my spot." I clearly state. He ignores me. I like this kid. I sit next to him and the bus starts moving with a jerk. His head jerks forward and slams into the seat in front of us. A pair of glasses fall to the floor.
"FucK." He blurts. I reach down and struggle to reach the glasses but grab them before he can. I hold them out but keep a tight grip on them. "Show me your face and you can have them back." I say.
I guess I was getting curious. He already seemed too relatable to me.
He looks up at me with the most piercing bitch face I had ever seen in my entire life.
His eyes were like a forest full of more shades of green than I had ever seen. I must have been staring for too long- or maybe it was all of the awkward eye contact I was causing -because he looked down again and put his hand out.
"Okay you fucking furry, now give them back." Wait. Did he just call me a furry? I punch his arm.
"Don't fucking say that word in public!" I exclaim, cringing.
"I thought it fit you. Just give me my glasses." I hand over his glasses and cross my arms.
He starts laughing under his breath and I join him. "My name is Dean. I'm new here. A senior." He says, looking back over to me.
"I'm Cas. I've always gone here. I'm a senior too." I reply.
Dean nods, and I smile. He doesn't smile back. He puts his glasses back on and squints at me.
"You know you have like a pound of eyeliner on, right?" He asks.
"Yeah, I know."
The bus comes to a stop in front of the school. Dean and I stand up at the same time. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad after all.
