Hey guys it's Reese and this is my story about how I realized I was pansexual and genderfluid, and how I came out.

Last year I was in 5th grade, a little 11 year old. Once I got more social media accounts, I started seeing more LGBTQ+ related stuff. I though about it, and questioned myself. For the longest time I thought 'I can't be gay, I like boys. I can't imagine myself dating a girl, ew.'

I realized soon enough I actually did like girls. A lot. Ever since I was little I always thought people always found someone of the same sex attractive. But I wasn't gay, as I have a crush on a boy.

I thought I was bisexual. I even came out to my mom in a text. But soon enough I met two pansexual friends of mine, Kaylee and Evan. I asked them what Pansexual meant and they said it meant you liked every gender. Then I came to the conclusion that I am pansexual.

I didn't realize there were more than two genders at the time, so I was confused. I did my research. I started to question myself. I've never really felt like a girl, but not like a guy either. Soon I realized I am genderfluid.

I'm still questioning to this day. I like girls way more than boys so I might be homoflexible, and I don't really know if I'm genderfluid or agender.

Anyway, I have come out to my mom, but not my dad, as he has a very strong Christian family and he's super Christian.

I came out to my mom through text when I thought I was bisexual. At first she didn't believe me, but then said she supported me. Once I realized I was pansexual, I told her casually, in person. She also accepted me then.

She said there were only 2 genders though, when I told her I was genderfluid. But I have wonderful friends who support me :).

I came out to my friends casually. Just told them. It was easy, since I trusted them.

I can tell you that I'm much happier that I've come out for the most part. It makes it easier to be myself. But always wait for the right time to tell people.

Thanks for listening to my story! :)
