In the beginning there was just Chaos. Not chaos as in complete disorder and confusion. But I mean Chaos as in the huge wisp of black and white smoke and dust that is now the milky way. But enough describing Chaos lets get to the story.
Chaos was the first ever god, but he is not always known for it. Well actual nobody really knows whether its a she or a he, so lets just call it Chaos or just it. So Chaos was just the loneliest being ever in creation. I mean as the only living thing in the universe, I think I would be pretty lonely. So what Chaos did was, create what we call earth. Which he named Gaia.
Well Gaia could take human form and walk on the earth. Which is technically walking on herself.
So one day Gaia was walking on herself (again) and she looked at Chaos and said, "It would be cool to have a nice little doom right over my earthy self. I would call it a sky." and with that the misty nothingness disappeared from Gaia's sight. And a beautiful night sky appeared.
Well that sky could also take human form. The sky decided to name himself Ouranos (pronounced Uranus).
So Gaia and Ouranos got married and that did not exactly go so well.
