Chapter 1: The big day

Emma's P.O.V

I wake up to the sound of my alram, it's 4am but I have an early plane flight to Arizona. My mum wanted to leave early so we could "explore" Arizona. I sat up and walked into my bathroom. I shower, brush my teeth and dry my hair. I brush my hair and put it in a high messy bun. I put on a pair of light wash skinny jeans and a red croptop. I slip on my converses and go downstairs for breakfast.

My mum's already in the kitchen cleaning. I grab a granola bar and take one last look around the whole house, that is now empty. I don't wanna move to Arizona I wanna stay here with my friends. We have some family in Arizona, just my mum's parents though. I put the rest of the boxes in the moving truck and grab my bag that I use as a carry-on. My mum and I get in the car and I, put in my heaphones and listen 5SOS and I slowly drift to sleep.

I wake up to my mum shaking my shoulder, I open my eyes and look at her
"We're here" She says. I look infront of me and we're at the airport. We go inside and go through security and stuff.

We have an extra hour until we are supposed to board the plane so, my mum and I go and look at some food we can take on the plane. I get Sour Patch Kids, M&Ms and Starbursts Snakes. I put them in my bag and we sat down waiting for the plane. I went on sc and snapchatted my BFF Lily. Even though its 5am. I took a pic of my shoes and added a title saying:
Gonna miss you heaps😢

I sent it to her and then went on Instagram. I posted a picture of me and Lily and captioned:
Leaving in 5 minutes. Almost time to say "goodbye"😢💕

"Flight 223 to Phoenix Arizona boarding now at gate 12" A man through the intercom says. My mum and I stand up and wait to board the plane. We are sitting in the middle of the plane. I get the window seat and my mum sits on the end so that we can put some of our stuf in the middle if no one comes. Eventually no one came YAY, my mum and I put our carry-ons on the seat and I got out my Ipad and started readinh some 5SOS fanfics. I put my earphones back in my ears and listen to music and drift off to sleep again.

"Wake up sweetie we are landing you need to put on your seatbelt" My mum said. I slowly woke up and put on my seatbelt. I got a snapback from Lily. She just took a selfie and put a title that said:
Goodbye😢

I took a pic of the window and added a title:
Hello new life
I put it on my story. The plane landed and my mum and I were the last to get off. We went through security and everything again, once we were done I took 1 big step out of the airport and took a deep breath and said
"My new life".
