'Who's that?' a young boy questioned. Gesturing to figure standing across the yard,
he stared for a few moments more before going back to playing with the different colour hopscotches on the ground. The figure continued to look in there general direction, observing both the movement of the children and the hurried reaction of the adults after figuring that they were not another member of staff. Swiftly a whistle was blown, staff dashed around ensuring that the rather disappointed children were as far away from the figure as possible. However the figure seemed to have found something of interest, they seemingly seamed fixated on a spot on the far right of the playground, far from any child. That spot held a frozen apprentice. The children were gathered together and counted, before being encouraged to line up, the school children groaned that break was being cut short blatantly unbothered by the now approaching figure. They seemed to have a sort of psychotic look about them, they stopped only to observe again and held them self confidently.
The children were now were being swiftly led inside through a set of security double doors, which led into the main corridor of the school, along with staff. Rowan (the apprentice) suddenly felt a light touch on her left arm, she looked up to see one of the teaching assistants by the name of Miss Fawkes smiling lightly at her as if to offer some sort of reassurance to the young girl. 'Come on dear' she whispered as she grabbed Rowan's upper arm and beginning to lead her inside, after a step towards the door the light pull disappeared and Luna looked to see that Miss Fawkes was no long there, she swiftly looked around to see where the middle aged lady had gone before looking at the ground. There was Miss Fawkes laying back against the ground, she looked peaceful as if she getting ready to sleep, her arms lay at her sides it was have been amusing to see a member of staff laying on the floor normal but the fun factor was soon strip by the steady flow of ruby red blood flowing from the hole in her head, her brown eyes become dull and lifeless.
Rowan looked up to lock eyes with a man only a few steps away from her. His green hair sticking out in a multitude of directions and piercing blue eyes that bore into her making her feel uneasy or maybe it was the gold and purple pistol in his hand. 'Stay there my darling' he stated patronisingly with a overbearing smirk . 'Rowan' another teacher assistant whispered from the door a single tear falling as she silently morned her friend. She looked at her to only shake her head. 'Please' a teacher begged.
She sighed 'I'm sorry, but it's time I faced my past.' She stated looking the man in the eye before silently walking towards the door giving it an uneven push and as stratifying buzz sounded announcing that the security lock was in place, with a ghost of a smile on her face with the reassuring thought of knowing that the children were safe.
The man approached 'what did I say doll' he whispered before slapping her and grabbing her face 'I told you mischief to stay where you were and you disobeyed me, something never change so they?' He questioned before letting her go, he turned on his heel not wanting to see her red cheeks and pained expression 'I told you doll, you run I will find you and God did you run ha you even ran into a different world but guess what I'm here, I found you' he announced turn back around. 'Yes you did, but I left for a reason where's your whore?' She snapped back with an acidic tone unable to hide the fact the she knew all to well the person standing in front of her, from his green hair down to every tattoo and his style this man once owned her but no more 'go back to Gotham Joker'.
