How are you all been doing lately? So, here we are with our first book on Poems and short stories dedicated to women!
Women have such a crucial role to play in our society. They shape and mould the upcoming generation in a way that they become fruitful. Yet, the same society which needs their parenting skills, treats them as dirt!! WHY ?
Fair skinned or tanned , dusky or dark, women are the beautiful creation of God. He created them to spread love and peace in this doomed cruel world. Yet, you treat her as a ragged doll? WHY?
When she smiles, the surrounding around her brightens up. Her one glance, notches up the heartbeat of someone out there, yet you consider her as a disgusting piece! WHY ?
Kids are considered as blessing from above. Their innocence, their smile are all contagious to one and all. Yet, when God gifts you a precious gift in the form of a girl child, you want to end her life! Or abort her even before she is born! Or simply put her in a gigantic earthen filled with steaming hot milk to kill her! WHY ?
To marry off your son, you need her. To bear your grand kids, you need her. To fulfill all daily chores of the household, you need her. But when she becomes unable to bear you a male child, you curse her, abuse her! WHY ?
Somebody wants to take her on a date. Someone wants to propose her and make her his! But when the same girl rejects you for her own reasons, you try to disfigure her identity- her face by throwing volatile acid on her! WHY ?
In India, we serve women as GOD! We give them the highest position as she is the one bearing children with pain. But in the same country where we have such high regard for our women, how come a mere 23-yr old ambitious girl can be brutually gang -raped and killed in a moving bus on a starry night ? JUST WHY????
These are some un-answered questions nagging in our mind from the extreme start! We admins, don't promise you to give the exact answer to all of them through this book. But we definitely promise to share beautiful poems and short stories or even pen down some, which may give you answers to these mystical questions!
