You woke up looking over at your phone "Oh no its already 8:45" you get out of bed but miss the floor and fall on your face you groan and jump up scrambling to get around you head to the door and rush to your car pulling out of your drive way you slam on the brakes as you turn around you see a man roller blading your about two feet away from hitting him with your car you jump out and run over to him "oh my god are you okay I'm so sorry I was running late and " you look up at him mentally slapping yourself for almost running over such a hot man his big brown eyes looking at you "I-its fine just a little shoke up " he smiles warmly at you and you smile back " A-are you sure your phone I would hate to leave you just all in shook from almost getting hit " you laugh some and he laughs back looking at the ground "Maybe you could give me a ride to work wouldn't want any crazy people hitting me with their car" you laugh and nod " Sure where do you work " "Well I hang around with my friend at his work I'm flushed with cashhhh" you throw your head back laughing and he smiles thinking how no one laughs at his singing but he hopes it was a good laugh " Anyhow it's the park and recreation department" you tilt your head slightly " It's my first day there what timing " you get in the car and he follows as your driving through you think of something to cure the silence that filled you both " you know with that sort of voice you should sing for a job " you turn your head to him slightly and smile " Well your the first to like my singing so who knows " You blush some and cover your face with your hair some and pull into a parking spot and turn to you groan " I am sorry I never even asked your name " He looks at his hands then you " Jean Ralphio but you can just call me Jean " you smile and extend your hand "My name is (Y/N) (Y/L/N) " Jean eyes widen some and shakes your hand and leans up and kisses your hand "Well that's a wonderful name " you sit there speechless before looking at the clock " Oh god I am late I'll hopefully talk to you later ?" Jean nods his head and jumps out of the car. You run inside fixing your hair still thinking about Jean you run into the office "Sorry I was late crazy story -" you look up and see Jean and someone talking you hide be hide the door your already late who cares "Yo Tom you should have seen this girl she was lookin pretty good and oh my god Tom " Tom is standing there shaking his his head " But she almost hit you with her car Jean are you insane" Jean shrugs " I got run over by a lexiussssss so it would have not hurt that much plus then she would have had to stay with me longer but I heard she works here so" you fix your hair quickly and walk in " Sorry I was late crazy story " you look over and see him trying to act surprised " Oh hey Jean " he nudges Tom and looks at you then walks over to you sitting at your desk. "What's up (Y/N) how have you be-" Jean falls from the chair leaning back to far as you cracked up laughing " Oh my god you shouldn't hang out with me I just injure you " Jean quickly jumps up and bushes off his shoulders " Pshhh takes more than that to get rid of me " you and Jean laugh but Jean is looking at you as he laughs the way you shake your whole body when you laugh and then how you snort a little then some more realizing you snorted "You crack me up Ralphio " you smile and turn to the door to see your boss walk in Ron Swanson. You gasp softly and sit at your desk quickly "Good morning Ron" Ron holds his hand up and shakes it " No speaking to me till I don't like breakfast food" he says as he walks into his office slamming the door you sit there and look at Jean "He loves breakfast food more than anything (Y/N) just don't talk to him unless you need too " you nod your head and start typing on your computer as you look up and see Tom eye balling you "Um hello?" Tom snaps his fingers in your face "Tom cut it out!" You look at Jean then Tom as Tom throws his hands up in the air and walks across the room to his desk you sigh and shake your head " Come on its your first day of the job you need to cut it Off" you agree with your brain and suddenly the phone rings you answer it and hang up rudely Ron gives you a thumbs up and you smile he groans and closes the curtains. You shrug as you start to hum to a song you made up in your head until your starting to softly sing the words out loud a little "Don't be suspicious don't be suspicious" (now starts Jean POV ) He walks across the hallway hearing a tune starting to dance to it and leans his head in "is someone singing the don't be suspicious song how does someone know it who " he looks in and sees none other than (Y/N) he almost falls to the floor and run down the hallway to tell Tom he bust into the bathroom "Tom! are you in here" Tom groans " What Jean" "I think I am falling for this girl man she may have almost hit me with her car but " You walk into the room with a smile on your face and look at Tom the Jean "Um hey Jean I was wondering if like you don't have to I mean it's no big deal or anything I just " Tom groans loudly " Just say what you wanna say " Jean slaps his arm "do you want me to take you home since I drove you here " Jean sits there for a moment he wanted to instantly say yes but didn't wanna seem weird "Sure (Y/N) um do you want me number in case you can't find me " Tom rolls his eyes as Jean smirks a little trying to be slick "Oh sure" you grab a pen and some paper scrambling down your number he smiles and grabs the clip board from Tom ripping off a piece of paper turning it over to the blank side " Dude I was filling out something on there " Jean shrugs and hands it to (Y/N) "So I'll see you around " she bites her lip and smiles Jean smiles back as she turns on her heel and leaves the room. (Y/N) runs down the hall and pulls out her phone inserting the number and Jeans name but puts it as Jean 💞. Later in the day- Hey (Y/N) I'm outside by your car whenever your ready - you bite your lip and think for a second before quickly tapping the screen-Ill be out there in a minute just gotta dry my shirt I spilled water all over my self what a clutz You hit send and smirk walking out to the car to see Jean having his mouth hanging open looking at his screen "Hey Jean you ready?" He shakes his head and looks at you up and down "U-Uh yeah sure "
